Anyone have recipe card making sites that they care to share. L@@king for a couple different ones so all the cards won't be the same. Thanks alot.

I firmly believe in the KISS principle for many situations in life. Keeps the stress to a minimum. Composting is one of the few areas in life where one can really test the rules without serious consequences and should, and can, be fun and need not be difficult. If you have been running that tumbler for 6 months I suggest you dump it out in a pile and start a new batch in the tumbler. Keep adding coffee grounds to the pile and keep it moist but let it sit awhile to see what happens. If nothing seems to happen you could bury a bucket of kitchen scraps in the center of the pile to see if it starts to heat. Meanwhile you are starting a new batch to experiment proportions with. Making compost is like cooking without recipes, it's a constant fun challenge. I'm never concerned with whether my compost pile heats or finishes on any schedule as I know it will become compost eventually. When there are no recognizable bits I often use it as mulch whether it's really finished or not. Makes no difference to me or my soil as the organisms continue to work on it wherever it is. Only my winter accumulation of scraps are composted, the summer scraps are trench composted to feed the worms. BTW I never waste time washing or grinding up eggshells, just hit them with the shovel as I'm turning the pile and I've never seen one in the garden. KISS and have fun.

OK, here's a quick and easy dessert that's still a good old fashioned comfort food and relative nutritious as desserts go. (grin) Blueberry Crisp-GrandmaÂs ================ 3 cups blueberries, fresh or frozen, unsweetened 2 tbls lemon juice 2/3 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup flour 1/2 cup quick oats 1/3 cup butter, softened 3/4 tsp cinnamon 1/4 tsp salt . Heat oven to 375. Arrange berries in ungreased square baking dish (8 inch) and sprinkle with lemon juice. Combine remaining ingredients until crumbly. (I use a pastry blender, grandma used two knives). Crumble topping over berries and bake until topping is lightly browned and berries are hot, about 30 minutes. Makes 4-6 servings. I double this and it still comes out good. Plus blueberries are low in calories, have lots of fiber and no fat, contain antioxidants C, E and beta carotene and have been found to be as helpful in urinary tract health as cranberries. That's why I need ice cream with them, they are just too darned healthy. LOL Blueenough, it's clear that your daughter was a wonderful person and well loved by her family and community. It's always too soon to lose a child, a mother, a wife, and so I'm sending my prayers for strenth and healing to you all. Cabinet maker screwed up cabinet stain badly... denies wrongdoing

Is your original color espresso? It is hard to get the espresso shade with using a wood other than cherry or a few others. With maple and like woods they do not always take a dark stain well. I think it likely someone tried to fix a blotchy stain with a dark glaze except they used too much. Doing a glaze over a dark stain on maple and like woods is fairly common in order to get the dark stain to look uniform. The cabinets you put in look like espresso with a heavy handed sable glaze. If it were me and really wanted the original I would try to make a deal for cherry in the color of stain you want. Cherry does darken over time though.

Cathy seems to be right. The first time I used it, I poured the mixture into the bowl, then turned it on. The mixture in the center was creamy but there was about 1/4 inch thick of ice cream hardened on the side of the bowl. The 2nd time, I turned the machine on and then pour the mixture in slowly. There was only a thin layer of ice cream a little harden but not as hard as the first time. Both times I used the same recipe. From then on, I turned the machine on first then, pour in the mixture. By the way, my mixture usually have small pieces of fresh fruits when mixing and it came out fine.

Beverly, right click and copy the link just like you did to post it only paste it in the box below this reply box "Optional Link URL:______" and put the name you want in the box below that "Name of the Link:______" and then you will see the name of the link that you posted. I usually test the link in the preview mode before I go ahead and post it.

The easiest thing to do is use your search engine (mine is Google), and ask for printable recipe cards or anything else you're looking for. Good luck....

I'm a little late, but here are some from HP site. These are PDF files that let you type in your recipe. You download them to your computer. Four for Thanksgiving (I said I was late!)and one for a cookie exchange.
