I am pooped! Beautiful day, and it was fun, ..here are the pics.

The sm white pumpkins are from Michael's. half price..

The tall cake stand, dome is next to it, from TJMAXX, 15.00

I made the centerpiece, little red cart, filled with oasis, white mums from my yard and pics...Wheel barrel from a set of minature Radio Flyer things I bought a few years ago..filled with apples..

"So what do you spray Olpea for summer rots?" Appleseed, I don't have a lot of apples. I've grown maybe 5 or 6 varieties in my yard is all. I have about 25 apples planted at the farm, but they are pretty new and none have fruited, so I really don't have a lot of experience with apples. I've not had an issue with summer apple rots here. Most of the time, when I spray peaches here at the house, I also hit the apples with whatever is in the tank, as long as it's labeled for apples. Most of the time the tank will have some fungicide in it. Typically I might use Captan for peach scab early season. Later in the season I use a fungicide more specific to brown rot on peaches. Something like Pristine. Both are labeled for apples as well as peaches. I've used Ziram before (also labeled for apples and peaches) and I think I may go back to that. It's not as effective against scab as Captan, but it does provide some foliar zinc, and peaches are heavy feeders of zinc.

Base, yes, pic of a tree would help. You said it is a dwarf tree. Do you know a rootstock it is grafted on? " June drop" on apples when it drops some fruitlets is common but it should not drop All fruitlets, partcularly on your 4-5 years old tree. The more you give us the info, the better. Type of roostock, your location, if you spray it with anything, etc.

Your apple plates look so pretty and love that you had a red and a red checked tablecloth for the tables. Cute little wagon centerpiece. Good idea to add the fall picks and pumkins too. Know it was lots of work, but I am sure everyone had a great time and enjoyed your tablescapes and especially the lucious looking food! ;o) Luvs

Thank you ladies! There wasn't much room on the table to do all the little extras..I didn't want to have it in the dining room, easier for me to be part of the conversation if it is in the breakfast nook.
I got some nice little gifts..I will post them Fri. I have to go in tomorrow to dgs 2nd bday and lunch before that with my friend who moved. It will be a long day!

Beautiful, yummy, delicious. But I wasn't hungry till I opened up your post and now nothing in this house is appealing after seeing your edible delights. LOL
Those dishes are sure pretty! Lord, still can't get use to ME being enamored with dishes after all these years.
Too funny.

Alrighty then......that is absolutely perfect!!!!! Sometime when you have a moment, can you post what is in that beautiful salad????
I have the wheelbarrow and a small wagon, but they never get a chance to get to the table..... 7 girls and 1 boy under the age of 5 will do you in every time!!!!!!

Jay, It is baby spinach with a little sugar, pow mustard, red onion, feta cheese,mushrooms. toasted pecans, and marinated shrimp. I left the tomatoes and cukes and red peppers on the side for those who like them. Choice of dressings, balsamic reduction, rasp. vinegarette and my own blend.
I got the mni wheelbarrow, sled, wagon ,and a tiny wagon from ebay a few years ago. I use them for food displays. Christmas I fill the wagons with cookies, etc for the family party.

Your table could be in Better Homes & Gardens magazine!!! I'm not kidding, your decorating is really picture perfect!

Drooling here! Everything looks so inviting and oh, so delicious! I really need a chocolate fix after seeing that cake. And I love the apple decor. I keep looking for just the right fruit, especially apple, themed accessories for my kitchen. Your plates are perfect!

OMG! I just looked at your page to see if you lived near me so I could invite myself to lunch ; ) and imagine my surprise - we share the same birthday! : )
