System prophylaxis is regularly mentioned to be a tiered approach as no one application is totally capable and full-proof. Your AV is the only real-time monitor and should be kept updated. It is a fine idea to have a reputable malware detection application or two installed and current with updates.. These will be on-demand ready to assist if ever needed. Remember some bugs can prevent a system from connecting to the Internet. Myself, I have AVG, SAS and MBAM. The last two just in case. I could be wrong but I don't think the duplicating emails was caused by a virus, just a glitch of some sort... but like I say, I don't really know. Perhaps someone else will.

Thx for the responses. I'm pretty much a homebody due to health issues and do mostly all my shopping online. The internet has been a boon to me. Win 8.1 on an HP. All that's on it (that I can find) are a few games with very limited usage. Then you have to buy or join the gaming group and purchase 'coins' and pay as you play. I've checked Amazon, my #1 go to place. They've so many games, I was weary from wading thru them. Hence the decision to find the three or four I listed. I also have an iPad and have an assortment of word games that I enjoy when I have time. I'll check out the Jigsaw puzzle link. Sheila

I didn't buy the CD because I didn't want the thread kit that ran the whole thing up to almost $150 with tax. I have enough thread and do hand cross stitch with every DMC color known. I discussed this with the dealer and told her the colors were off according to what the statues colors are and why I didn't want the thread kit, just the CD. The CD embroideries were licensed by the convent who owns the Hummel rights and digitized from the original paintings done over 60+ years ago...paintings probably have never been cleaned although archieved so you know the colors are off, especially on skin tones. The figurines are painted with oxide glaze colors I prefer.
