Sounds like antique silver. Was the fork heavy? Were there designs on both sides? Crown at the bottom or could it be a shell? match the colors to the rug. maybe a navy textured throw, some blue/red/fuschia print pillows (similar to what you have) if you really want a revamp, take down that fan! (or at least replace. and it needs to be lowered to 8' to do any type of cooling) use the fuschia lightly. either in a throw, or maybe 1-2 pillows you can do some patterns as long as they're in the same color family a neutral tray on the ottoman would be nice too
