Emergency help! My new pocket door doesn't reach the floor!!

While not a medical or traffic emergency, I am in a bit of a panic about this. The carpenters have installed the first of two pocket doors on my bathroom renovation. The bottom edge of the door is approximately 2" above the floor. I believe that the contract purchased a regular slab door, not a longer door for a pocket door installation (since it hangs higher in the wall). And the pocket door "pocket" is screwed into a 2 by 4 at the base, which is in turn drilled into my slab foundation. This 2 by 4 is the cause of the shortage. Am I correct on this? I've never seen a pocket door with such a large gap between the door and the floor.

Should I ask the contractor to tear out the frame, remove the 2 by 4, and start over? The second door also has a 2 by 4 at the base, however, it's not finished yest. What should go at the base of the pocket, on the concrete foundation, to stabilize the frame? A 1 by 4? Anything? I need to figure this out by tomorrow morning. Thanks so much!
