What color should I paint my bathroom vanity?

My bathrooms are small, and have white countertops. I need to paint the vanity cabinets and doors. The walls in each bathroom will be painted one color (a light seafoam green in one, a taupe/tan in the other). I think painting the vanity cabinets the same colors as the walls would give the rooms a built-in look and make the rooms look bigger. Is that a good idea? I really want to do something other than white.

I wouldn't do that, it's going to make them look dated & unprofessional. I'd paint the cabinets a soft white. It will help open up the space & keep the rooms looking fresh. If you're apprehensive about doing that because the counters are white, add some off white glaze to help add some contrast.

Don’t do seconds cheap chinese marble. You have a high risk of it rusting. In addition to the spacing and thickness issues that it will have. And all of the other issues that marble has with staining, etching, and chipping.

Thanks all! Sry, my house has mahogany wood trim... I didn’t know about the cabinets :). I don’t mind the colour either, but we added extra overhead lighting and it’s still too dark to do even basic makeup. I will take a look at the suggestions and maybe only go up a couple shades on the same paint strip since that color is safe. And yea... the tile is limiting too.
