This colorful tablecloth makes me want to go to the Farmer's Market.

The tc ,green plates, fruit plates and watering can are Thrift Store purchases. My DGD found the watering can candles at a yard sale. I found the coasters in a bag when I was looking for things for the table. Last week someone asked if we used coasters on our table settings so I thought I'd give them a try. I think they work.

Nana, this ts is beautiful. Love your new colorful fruit tc. It's so bold, just makes your table pop. Great layering with the dishes. Looks like you had some fun shopping!

Those are the cutest watering can candles DGD found. Wonderful to see your bunny that belonged to DGM setting beside your watering can for the cp. It's great when we can add something that is special to us. Your coasters under the stems is a nice touch.

So glad you are here to entertain us with all your wonderful tables and decor. I worked 13 hours today, came home and took a nap so now I'm up playing on the computer. I know better but seem to do it any way.haha

Oh nana...I love this table! That bold & beautiful t'cloth sure makes the 'fruits of your labor' so very worthwhile! Love the square chargers, your TS layered plates & the flatware. Those coasters provide a nice touch ...so that can appreciate the color of your glassware!

I like how you put a single colored runner down the middle so that the 'bountiful' t'cloth doesn't overpower the place-settings! & your DGM's bunny is so very sweet ...along w/watering can motifs! This is another winner! Would love to dine @ your table! TFS, nana! Jeanne S.

I used to have to go outside with my little dog from the time I was 6 to the time I was 20! We had two gigantic owls who would sit and wait for Fifi to have to go. The birds were so big that my dad had to come outside, too, until I got bigger. They swooped even with me there! Nice photo!

How did everyone make it thru the snowstorm?

We had 13.7 inches here in Racine. I don't mind the shoveling as much as figuring out where to put the stuff! And we are supposed to get some more snow starting tonight, 3 to 5 inches, not bad. But I am running out of places to deposit it. I live on a corner lot and there isn't much of a lawn in front of the house. Just about 3 feet of grass between the sidewalk and the bushes around the foundation. The strip between the street and the sidewalk is pretty high plus with this freezing cold it is hard so the snow that I try to put up there will most likely just slide off. I might have to put the snow in a toboggan and move it around the corner and put it on my side lawn which has a little bit of room. The worst thing of all is that my street is usually plowed after I finish shoveling and that $%^* plow always dumps a mess in the end of my driveway! They swerve around my neighbor's car (who parks in the street) and when they come back over to the side of the road they always push a bunch of snow into my driveway before they straighten out. I asked my neighbor to park on the other side of my driveway but he must have forgot. So I saw him the other day parking his car and explained again and he said he would do it the next time it snowed. I guess I'll have to hope he remembers tonight. Wish me luck. I have an red Amaryllis blooming right now and it is very inspiring to see that in front of the window before my gaze travels past it and sees all of that white snow everywhere. Don't you wish you were like those bears and other animals who hibernate through winter? I know I wish I could just sleep through it all! Kim

sub lingual Vit. B12 anyone...?

People take B12 for energy boosts but it rarely does that to me. Sometimes I can notice a sense of healthiness the next day after taking the pill or when I sometimes do the liquid (also kept under the tongue). My doctor does very thorough blood work so I monitor the levels once or twice each year. They were having trouble getting the dosage right for my Thyroid medicine so I had to do a lot of lab tests in the course of a year so I got to double check my vitamin levels often. I was told by another doctor that sub-lingual was not as effective as injection. There is even a medical hot line where you can ask a question and they will call you back with the answer within a week (I think it is operated with Med students). I asked the question there and was told that sublingual is a third less effective, or more. But, you can take a pill every day if you need so I think it works out fine. In my case it wasn't giving myself the shot it was the amount of stuff I had to inject into the muscle that was a problem. Now all I have to do is take one pill per week. The liquid B12 is usually near the pills at the drug store, if you don't want to take a pill.

Oh, nana! I forgot...are you experiencing 'telepathy' today??? While TS'ing w/a friend I didn't buy much but did bring home a 'fruit plate' that I thought I'd use on the buffet! & just recently I bought a 'fruit print' (it's an old calendar page in a barnwood frame) with a bluebird on it for shelf above buffet ...ahhhh, something's going on here, right? You have the prettiest tablecloths Nana, and you find just the perfect dishes to go with them. Love the watering can cp and that DGD found perfect matching candle holders. Another fun tablescape--you are really on a roll!

What a cheery table!
The soft green plates are just the color to go with the tablecloth and the fruit plates are echoing the print perfectly.

You always put so much thought and effort into your tables and this one is no exception. It is "fruitilicious" with a cherry on top.

Nature's Bounty is right!! What an explosion of color and beauty! The runner down the middle really is perfect for this too. And your addition of those coasters!

That bunny tho....first its so wonderful you have him from your DGM. A special treasure. But finding out he's been around so long really makes me sad! I had that very same bunny for several years, found him in GW. But he got broken and couldn't be 'saved'. I had no idea he was a real old guy, darn it. Not to mention he was just really a neat looking bunny.

Thank you all so much.
I found everything last summer.
I had the table set once. DD1 suggested using something to calm the brightness of the tc.
She was right. I'm glad I followed her advise.
I'm glad I used the coasters too.
The glasses would haven gotten lost otherwise.
Punk, how do you do it all? You really are the energizer bunny.
Jeanne, you are welcome to dine at my table anytime.
I can't wait to see your new print on the shelf above you buffet.
Luvs, I have been lucky to find so many great tcs and dishes at a local thrift store.

Karen, My Mom gave me the bunny after my DGM died.
Dad had a fit, he was sure one of my kid's would break it.
I have always kept it out of harm's way.

Another beautiful TC Nana..with a great pattern and bright colors.
Once again, you created a lovely matching tablescape!
I Love how you layered the dishes with those fruit plates that were just waiting to be found by you for this TS.
The little watering can candles are adorable..your DGD is a good little shopper. They compliment your CP beautifully!
I love the fact that you have your DGM's bunny..what a treasure and I'm glad too it survived all these years for you to
'play' with!
