Tea Anyone ... Part 2

So, now I decided to set up my Tea on the Buffet in the front Hall... I did it two different ways..

These cups were a gift from my DSIL...DH does not like them..Oh well...they are nice to 'play with'...

I bought the 'Dutch Girl' last year at a TS..for 25 cents.

She is quite old and has a crackle finish.. I put her with my White Ironstone Collection and she fits in nicely..

So, now I set the 'Dutch Girl' with my B&W.. she seems quite at home here...

So far, every piece you've seen, (except for the cups from DSIL)...were from Estate or TS.. I love a bargain!!

Okay...I'm Off...LIke The Rabbit in Alice!!...I'm Late...I'm Late...more tea coming...lol

Windmills, Dutch girls, tulips - all works together. Like this step up very much.

Maman Cochet has large, rounded foliage (and not enough of it) and an awkward, angular growth habit. BH de Snoy also has the lovely, elegant clear pink buds & blooms but the foliage is smaller, finer and the growth habit of the plant is prettier. Both are very nice roses. The blooms of MC are larger & tend to dangle. The center is muddled, fuddled, duddled. BH de Snoy has somewhat smaller blooms presented upright.

Proudgm, you can save any pics to there, if it's in PB already then there is a link that says "copy to my album" and it will put it there. As far as other sites, I know there is a way to upload them to PB from your album, I think you would just put the web address in it, I've never done it before. Also as Tracy pointed out above: Vic, one thing I would like to add about setting up your own photobucket account is that you can create your own folders for it too. I have several different sub albums in my account for family pics, garden shots, then sub albums for each of my individual gardens, clematis, lilies, daylilies and then keep a separate album for all web art I find that I want to use again or edit/personalize. I like keeping them separated so if I do a search I can find what I'm looking for pretty quickly. It is a pretty neat site and they just recently expanded some of their editing tools so you can add comments and funny designs to the pictures too. I've started part 3 so we don't have to wear our mouses out scrolling the page : )

I can't imagine why your DH doesn't like those cups in the first pic...they are very nice and don't seem "too dainty" for a guy. I REALLY love your Dutch girl! My Dad is from Holland and I would love to have something like that as a "heritage" item. She does go very well with the windmill plates!

Another great set up. I like the B & W cups better but the cups your SIL bought will fit in at the right place I'm sure. They are very pretty. It's amazing how your dutch girl blends with your Ironstone and Tea set. What a deal for a quarter. I love to go to yard sales and find great deals. Punk

Perfect set up to serve Hot Chocolate in that pot!!!!! The cups are perfect for that as well. And of course the Dutch Chocolate Girl is the perfect indicator of chocolate goodness to come!!!!!

What a wonderful find that little Dutch girl was! My friend/neighbor has a collection of the shoes, bet she'd love your little girl as well. I really like your ironstone tea set, just can't go wrong with white pieces. This whole setting is very pretty. Luvs

I love your Dutch theme. I too have a lot of Delft, since my husband is 100% and his grandparent came off the ship.

I just never thought of doing a tablescape using my things.
Will have to give it a whirl.

I've got some Delft but I'm sure not as much as you, with your DH being 100%..lol.

I'd love to see some of your things, and even a tablescape.
