It's all very lovely, but I am particularly drawn to the gorgeous dried hydrangeas in your basket on top of your cabinet.

What kind of hydrangeas are they? They look like they might be Endless Summer.

Jeanne, I love your momma bunny and she looks great with the wicker basket and candle. What is the green leaf she is sitting on? That looks great under her.

Your little boy looks great all painted up and stained sitting with his girl. However, I'm thinking the new paint smell might not be appealing to her or she' just a little shy still.LOL

Just love the way you put everything together. I could go on forever with all your goodies on here. You have so many nice things. Your dried hydrangeas are beautiful in your basket. Thanks so much for taking the time to show me a close up. I'm going to try growing them again some year but so far not one has lived for me.

Makes me wanna go do some decorating for spring but we're having 60 MPH winds and there's no way I want to be running back and forth from the shop to the house for things to decorate with. I'm just thankful I was able to leave work on time tonight!

You are so lucky to have an enclosed porch. You did a very nice job of antiquing the little boy and I love everything and you arrange it so well. Wish I could grow hydrangeas just to dry them!

I'm glad Mama Bunny stayed out. She's not an Easter bunny, LOL. She's a "house bunny" for any time.

I finally got all my Easter packed and stored today. And
tonight I'm really questioning whether its worth it. But
I need to not think about NEXT year and just take things one day at a time. If I can decorate, I will. If I can't....knowing me, I probably will anyway. LOL. Right now I'd just love to sit on that porch of yours and enjoy the view. You have such a pretty yard.

That's the good thing about brown bunnies, they can blend in and look great. Then again, pink bunnies blend in pretty well at my house. Your boy and girl look sweet and I remember DM having a lamp like that when I was young. The green and white looks great in your hutch, that GP/GM nest sign is darling. I pulled a punk and stayed up really late last night (11:30), at least late for me and redid my sunroom buffet in all white with birds. But this morning because of all the reflections I couldn't get a pic, I'll post one next week. Thanks for sharing your nice pictures.

bonnieann...don't know the name of the hydrangea...was given to me many yrs. ago by a friend...since I don't remember so many plant names, I have 2 scrapbks now that I keep tags in & planting info...but this one not there! Ugh! That basket was a find at an antique store.

punk & luckygal...that "green thing" Mama bunny is sitting on is a faux cabbage leaf...they were popular in specialty stores around here a couple yrs ago...cute, uh? That beadboard is on it's 2nd recycle around here...we tore it out of a house a hundred yrs ago (LOL...that means 40 or so)...and was used for shelves under basement steps here...then yrs. later we opened that up & now it's a back for wall hanging shelves...thanks to DH!

Milo & PurpleM & Jane...I do love that bunny, too...she found a home for awhile & I will go on a walk & find some interesting things for a bit of poppouri around that candle in the basket. And I'll post a couple pics of planter collection here.

frou...LOL about the comment of the lamp...DH made that in high school shop class...his Mom used it for yrs...& it got passed on to us...I thought it was the ugliest thing in the world...didn't have a lamp shade (this was many yrs. ago!)...& found that lamp shade yrs. ago & it's grown on me! LOL ...the GP/GM nest sign was a gift on Easter from my G'son's GF...nice surprise!

I've collected these for some yrs. now...saw my first one at an antique store in MN of B/G tog for $20...didn't buy it...thought too much & then the next yr. it was still there at that same store, so I knew it was meant to be! That started the collection! I've found many for $10 or so...& even a couple for less ...added the baseball boy (which may not be vintage).

Yikes, Jeanne, lucky you to be able to put out your Spring things already! It's still getting down below freezing here at night and our Spring days are often too windy for decs to stay in place for very long ;^D

I love seeing your pretty porch. That basket of hydrangeas is lovely and I like all your vignettes, too. I would have never noticed before, but since you first showed us your wonderful collection of pastel girl & boy planters, I saw one in an antique mall recently. I had no idea if the price was good, though: it was $20. I should have taken a pic of it for you.

I can certainly tell you are "ready" for Spring, Jeanne. Getting all your bunnies, birds, and birdhouses out to view and enjoy! ;o) I love bunnies, think they are just fine for all seasons, and your little brown one is so cute and looks perfect right there.

You did a really nice job on the boy figurine, he's a cutie. Like the little girl too. You have so many pretty and interesting things on display.

Your collection of the children planters is great! There is such a sweet innocence to them and all the pastel colors are so soft and sweet.

Thanks for sharing your spring decor with us. I just got the Easter decs put away and debated on several bunnies as to whether they should stay out or be put away until next year. Sometimes when I like something--I can go a bit overboard with it! LOL

Thanks, everyone, for your comments...yes, Spring has sprung & hopefully will spring even more into summer! Been able to work outside the last couple days for a few hours at a time...tis wonderful! And $20 would be very top price for those planters I collect, lynn...fun to notice other's dishes, etc., isn't it! I came across a child's cup & saucer (clear glass) like luckygal collects & bought one for my Dollbaby! LOL! What fun to share ideas!

Being from Iowa, I also got 4 sweet corn white plates at my fav TS for 50 cts. each...will save that for a July 4th t'scape! Jeanne S.

Jeanne, do those planters mostly come in pink and aqua or is that your favorite to collect? I noticed you just had the one yellow one? By the way, $20 seems like a good price on them, on eBay they sell for close to $40! I don't think I've ever noticed them in the antique mall, so not sure what their prices would be. The baseball boy is just super cute and I bet you were thrilled to find him.

Thanks, gals! Yes, aqua & pink & creamy white are the colors I've collected...the yellow girl is the only yellow one I've come across. The girl/boy ones (girl with short skirt) all have a marking of a heart engraved in the side...others not marked...so don't know who made any of them...just that many are vintage from 40's & 50's (maybe some 60's)according to a bit of research. Fun to collect...and now even more fun moving them around! LOL! Thought they may look cute with one sitting at each place-setting with maybe some baby's breath or something...ummm...oh, you all are such motivators! Thanks! Jeanne S.

Eveything is so cute!! I'm glad you left the bunny out, she would be sad if you packed her away AND, it gives me a precedent for leaving two of mine out :^). They are both brown and look so cute peeking out from under the branches of my HUGE Christmas cactus. They may stay out year 'round!
