Dollbaby & More Bunny Easter Galore!

Well, Dollbaby changed into her Easter duds ... & is ready for the gang to arrive! Here she is with her fave Easter Angel Bunny...a gift some yrs back:

Her Easter tray'scape consists of a white doily placemat I crocheted, pink depression glass dinnerplate (Dollbaby size), Lefton China ("handpainted trademark exclusives Japan")salad plate & cup & silver (flowered) flatware...all thrift shop finds:

Salad plate is topped w/small cloche (garage sale) with faux pink Easter egg from Hobby Lobby)

And she convinced me that since I can't do 'Candyshots' on the dining table, that I should try it with her tray'scape! LOL! OK...

Well, I dont' think that was very impressive!!! LOL!

Added a bit of decor to kitchen countertop:

The bunny planter is old ... & the tulip planter is new this yr ...I bought it at a specialty shop & cut some tulips yesterday as we were to get a frost last night..the soft bunny girl was a HLobby find last yr 50% off.

And added this Arthur Court 1990 bunny tray I found at a consignment shop this past yr (thanks to 'Enablers R Us' on this forum!)

'Tweak!' ...after seeing pics I added old TS silver tray under the Tulip vignette...looks good w/Arthur Court bunny tray! ;-) Jeanne S.

Jeanne...dollbaby looks like she's ready for Easter dinner! LOVE her little tiny cloche with the pink egg...too cute! And your bunnies are all so pretty, but I really like the tulip vase...just beautiful!

Thanks, holiday-ers! candy & punk...the swirly chocolate lookin' eggs (yes, punk, they look good enough to eat!) are from HLobby last yr ...50% sale, I am sure! The eggs in the white pottery dish with bumpkin bunnies are bright colored alabaster eggs...I would like some more! That bell jar over the egg is a HLobby buy for 40% coupon...I've been lookin & lookin' but it's still a little big for Dollbaby's tray...so I used it on counter ledge. magpie...I put colored marbles in my planters sometimes...there's some purple ones in that pink planter on the counter & live cut flowers sometimes. PM...I LOVE your new purchase...Bear Bunny w/Bunny Slippers! SWEET! frou & jane..."pinks"...yes, I always think of you, frou...glad you like the cake pedestal...& jane, I'll be doing some additional tweaking on the boy & girl planters...I have a pink boy like this one (but not the girl) & I have pink pair (like these white ones & a pink planter of them attached tog)..here's pic from last yr: Thanks for commenting, Holiday-ers! Thanks, Holiday-ers...for all your kind comments...I am very slow this holiday season ... the virus bugs have hit around here & takes time to kick 'em...soon, I hope. punk ... the walnut/stained glass hanging lamp is handmade by the original carpenter that made the buffet & table. We were luck enough back in 1985 @ my hubby's gr'parents estate sale to buy the buffet/table & brought it home strapped to the top of our camper...can ya believe that! Anyway, the light was hanging in my hubby's Dad & Mom's cabin in Minnesota & he gave it to us since it originally was made w/table/buffet. Isn't that just cool! The carpenter was Larry's gr'ma's brother-in-law & he died in 1938@ the young age of 44(born 1894) ... so all of this was handmade sometime in his married life to my hubby's gr'ma's sister. I have a handwritten letter from this sister back in 1985 telling us the history ... she was pretty old back then & shared it with us. Ok, I've rattled on ... the runner is new last yr from TJMaxx ... can get bargains @that store! I am looking forward to decorating that lil' vine tree some for Summer, too. :-) Thanks again, friends. Jeanne, she is just precious. What a sweeeeet picture. She's the cutest of the little chicks. I could have a dozen little ones and love every minute of it. I had so much fun with DGD this weekend. We took her to several parks so she could do the monkey bars. Her little hands have lg blisters but she can't get enough going across those. Her challenge is to see how many rings she can skip. HA, to be young again. She wanted a new Baby Alive yesterday. So I asked her if she wanted me to buy it for her for Easter. She said 'no, not if it's for Easter in such an innocent voice.' So guess you know she got it right then. She's so spoiled and doesn't even know it. Thanks for sharing this priceless picture. Punk

Thanks, holiday-ers...yes, I am doing better each day (DH, too)...coughing is not gone, but much less, thank goodness! I want to get outside in the gardens...but weather must co-operate, too! jane, yes, this is a 3-season porch & we have a little electric stove heater that we can use & open up the sliding doors to the DR when GK's come home to play! We love the porch...it's almost as old as house...40 yrs. ranch style ...but finished off inside, carpeted cement floor, paneled & replaced windows in the last 10 yrs. or so. And, yes, Jane, that single pc of Depression glass is all I have from G'ma's...it is pretty...I must look up the pattern name again...it has pink glass spoon, too. (can't remember if I added that later?) Thanks, Marylee... & yes, Purplemoon, that totem does look like a bird bath...I got the 2 glass birds at StVincentDPaul, the heavy aqua glass dish at a GS & the 1 pc bottom at HLobby...when I made it. luvs, punk & nana...Dollbaby can be a pistol, all right! Yeah, now she wants to be out there playing, too! Glad you enjoyed her. And the "door" cabinet is my fav pc out there...just an original & reminds me of my sis' old farm house. Thanks, holiday-ers! Jeanne, I think your candyshot is quite cute!!
DollBaby is certainly a pampered princess. She looks quite pleased with her new outfit and her cloche and egg.

I was trying to find out who had that bunny tray as I just found a similar one at GdWl and wanted to see what yours looked like so I could see if mine was anywhere close to it. So glad you posted the picture. Mine is about 11" X 5" and is marked Peltrina on the back. It is obviously shorter than yours and has the 5 main bunnies, but not the bunny on the left side of the tray or the leaves at the ends.

The pink tulip vase is darling and nice job on the doily.

Jeanne, love Dollbaby all dressed for Easter. Her tray is so cute. Love that Candy shot too. Bunnies and tulip vase are so pretty together. The tulips added a nice touch.

Great find on your tray. I think Luvs friend gave her one like that. Now Candy has one too. You enablers are going to keep me shopping! Love them.

Dollbaby's Easter Outfit is just perfect for the occasion. She looks so pleased with her Easter placesetting too.
Her little plate, doily and glass dome 'with faux egg'...is darling. You're such a good Momma!
I like the bunny vignette on the tray and also your 'enabler' bunny tray is nice...I think Karen has one like it.

Well I told Candy I had 'chick envy'...I think I'm having tulip envy seeing your beautiful tulips.
I can't grow them here because they are another deer favorite food!

Aaah, there she is, one of my favorite little girls.
She looks so sweet in her Easter finery. And she loves posing for pictures, doesn't she? lol
I love seeing all you pretty pieces.

Jeanne, all your bunny decor is so nice. Punk, is right, my neighbor gave me one of those trays last year and all of you told me what a great find it was.

Babydoll looks all dolled up in her little outfit, and I love how you stacked the plates and used the cloche over that pretty egg.

I'm late, I'm late....sorry for the wait. But Jeanne, how am I suppose to comment on stuff when I'm cracking up over Dollbaby's "Candy shot". LOL. You are a hoot.
(think Dollbaby would want to arm-wrestle for that lil' bunny angel? Ummm, I didn't think so.)
Her tray of goodies is adorable, and that is one of my favorite outfits of her's.

Hey, that Arthur Court bunny tray is the same one as I JUST found at the antique mall!! Wooo Hooo.
And adding the silver tray to the Tulip vignette was just the perfect touch! I love both the bunny lady doll and the vintage pink bunny vase.

I sure wish we could extend Easter a bit longer. I don't think any of gang's stuff should be away so soon!! Thank goodness for photos to keep looking at tho.
