Hi Sandi, Sometimes, I feel a little discouraged that I can't just buy what I want when I want it--but then again, it is so great to find a bargain price when things go on sale, isn't it? Besides there's always the thrill of the hunt! Ha ha My concern now is that I am not buying too many things that I can only use once a year. I think I will try to keep the seasonal things to under $5.00 each for the most part. I think I have pretty much done that with everything except that large cabbage leaf plate-it was $9.99--but I rationalized that I needed a bigger one so I could put a dinner plate in front if I wanted to. Really would have loved to have four of them to use on the table--maybe I'll find them on sale for less sometime. Oh, I just fibbed. The new bunnies I bought yesterday were more than $5.00 too. I will probably use them year round though--I love bunnies and display some in my house already. I ran over to Walmart real quick today. Looked at the green clear glass plates to see if they might work for St. Pat's in case I decide to decorate the table. Actually saw some other plates that were a darker green that I liked better. Didn't see any colored glasses tho. I also looked to see what they had in white plates. Good prices, but I still want to look a bit more before I decide on those. They had two patterns that you could buy individual items instead of having to buy the whole set. If I can find an inexpensive set I like, I might be able to get some ivory ones too. So far, I still like the red plates you found at Target the best--can't believe I need plates in so many colors now! LOL Just have to take it one thing at a time and not get frustrated. It is lots more fun to buy patterned holiday plates than plain ones, isn't it? ;o) $5.00 each for those chargers doesn't sound too bad to me right now--the goldish ones at Walmart were more than that, and their woven ones weren't as inexpensive as I had expected either. Hope that little shop still has them and you can get them for just a couple bucks each. ;o) Good luck. Luvs

Everything on the counter is garage sale, except the apples, which Hobby Lobby had 40% off a few weeks ago. I love the cloches, they do make everything look special. There is a handfull of gold coins in front of the little Irish people but you can't see them in the photo. I just love this hobby, but must find more room in basement for storage since garage sales will be starting in April!!!! Yes Judith, you must hit some of those garage sales, amazing what you can find!!!

Hi Luvs, It sounds like you are going to have a nice time with your GD, I don't blame you a bit for sending her a card, she will love the stickers too I am sure. It is still exciting to me to get a real card in the mail its like receiving a "minigift". "Card emails" are just not quite the same. In fact a few days ago I went out and purchased a bunch of pretty and fun stationary to be able to write short letters every now and then, talking on the phone is great, but I think it will be fun for my family to receive a really pretty matching envelope and note paper in the mail with a short note from me. Sorry, I got off the subject a bit. (blush) Well, I'm not having company this weekend, in fact I have been invited to my neighbors house for her SO's birthday, so I shall definately eat and drink well tomorrow LOL. I'll be doing a table soon, I am finishing up with putting together my pink table from the new plates from Target, gosh I don't know what it is with me and pink lately.... If all goes well with the rest of my ideas I will try to have a couple of Easter table settings for April, there are just a few things I still need to pull together for that. (I have to hit a few stores in the "further" towns to finish off my looks, I've been to 3 Targets so far....) I also tried to talk my DD into taking me to Home Goods this weekend, but I did not have much luck there, she is not as nuts over Home Goods as I am-perhaps she was switched at birth??????
