St. Patrick's Decor Tea Cart

I decorated my tea cart for the holiday.

I found the leprechaun on clearance at Ross.

The teapot came from ARC, and the derby was from GW.

You created a very festive area on your Tea Cart Candy.
Your Ross leprechaun is sweet..love his little accordion.
That teapot was a nice find too and I like how you perched
the top hat over the lamp.
I'm amazed over how many tables and vignettes you've done in such a short time..and I've enjoyed looking at all of them.

Candy, this is wonderful! Happy St Pat's Day to all of you. Love your teapot. The little leprechaun is so cute and looks like he's ready to have a good time.

Your hat, bowl and vines are so pretty. Enjoyed seeing this. Now I better go see what I have that's green to wear today.

Candy, thanks. I remember your beautiful tea pots you've shared. I never cared for coffee much till the lattes came out and I love them. Just got a gift certificate for Valentines Day. We had training yesterday from 10-5 so I had to rush in and try to catch up this morning. Our new computers are not working right so they have been a nightmare. We are getting some snow every day but it warms up enough to melt some so at least it's not adding up. Jeanne, thanks for your comment on the mirror. The brown part of it doen't show in the pictures but it's better than nothing. I haven't given up on finding some sort of top for that buffet. If I ever decide to put my bakers rack on the deck I will try to remember to add that frog. Jane, thanks for the comment on my single plates in the china cab. Wasn't sure it would look good w/o layering but I like it for a change too. Nana, thanks, I'm so ready for Spring too. This winter has been a nice one but I'm ready to spend more time outdoors. I find most of my tea pots at ys and they are so cheap. So happy I brightened your day. You've done that for me too! OA, laughed so hard about all your coats of paint on the wooden candlesticks. I never think I have time to paint them but should see if I can talk DH into doing that for me. Great idea. Most of mine come from Ross or TJ Maxx. Thanks for your comments. Thank you everyone Marlene, those are tea towels I used for napkins. I liked the shade of green with the darker green in the tc. Jeanne the wee ones are hard to control. They were hiding from me at the store last year when I wanted to buy them. Karen, I would love to have you sit at my table, we can keep an eye out for those little rascals, while we share a cup of tea and some soda bread. I am so looking forward to green. Update, my son recieved a "care" package from a very caring friend, from his highschool years, who happens to be in contact with him almost daily & knows the struggles our family has been facing. He & his wife sent a gift for everyone in our family, the grandkids, my son, my DH & me. They sent me a beautiful white candle (how did they know I'm a candle nut?) and I was so thrilled, as I had wanted to put one in my counter display & just didn't seem to have one that really fit perfectly! The candle is a soy candle from a place in Alabama where they live called Fairhope Soy Candle Co. The scent is Creme Brulee and is just wonderful, and can't believe this, I AM allergic to all flower scented candles but totally can enjoy any food scented candles. This one has a sweet, buttery scent that makes your mouth water! YUM God does work in mysterious ways, sure helped my spirits yesterday, to realize there are still so many caring & loving people in this crazy world. Thank you Miranda & Brian. DD, thank you for your kind comment :-) To be honest, I am an Internet marketer and, one day, while enjoying the holiday season, I decided to focus my marketing on holidays. So, after having created my first holiday site (Christmas related) and then the second, third and fourth ones (Valentines, Easter and Halloween) and, following the "gurus" instructions, I created that blog in order to drive traffic to these sites. But one day, some times after Halloween 2007, I ended up in THIS forum and left the holiday marketer I was somewhere on the Web... So, from a promotion blog my blog became a real holidays related blog and not only dedicated to my site updates. I thus spend a lot of time reading the posts, clicking the links, visiting your blogs and the blogs you and all of our friends mention - even if I don't add a lot of comments, I read every post ;-) Well, I still work as an Internet marketer but I enjoy a thousand times more being here reading and watching your pictures than working my online businesses (history, weight loss and tarot cards reading) ;-))) Fortunately, I have my job at school to pay the bills, lol.

Your tea cart is very nice. The greenery really adds a lot and the tea pot is cute. Today at lunch I was browsing an antique mall and I saw a leprechaun with an accordian (and one with a fiddle). Who knew leprechauns were so musical?

Candy, I love the vignette you created on your tea cart. Pretty little tea pot. And the leprechaun looks very pleased with himself because he learned a new tune, and all of his gold is safe. LOL

What a lucky find that teapot was--did you find it this year just in time for St. Pat's or was it a previous find? I like how you used the derby too, and your little leprechaun is precious. Luvs

Jane, I didn't know what to do with the derby and just kind of hung it there as I was putting everything together and I liked how it looked.

Punk, I not only have a shamrock scarf, shamrock earrings, shamrock watch, button with my Irish maiden name, various green clothing items, but a couple of years ago, I found black tights at target that have shamrocks running down the sides. I just have to watch the weather to see if I need the green polo or the green turtleneck, LOL.

Marlene & Jeanne, I have had the teacart for almost 30 years, but not until here did I start decorating for different holidays. I used to put some Christmas decor on it, but other than that it had a soup tureen on it all the time. But since I joined Enablers R Us here, now it gets new decor all the time. LOL

Frou, well they need music to dance all those jigs, LOL. I now have 2 with the little squeeze boxes.

Nana and Luvs, I am always attracted to teapots as I am a tea drinker, and I found that one at a TS last summer. I wish I had enough display space to leave them all out, but I have to rotate them. I had trouble finding where I had stashed this one, but at least I remembered I had it, unlike the shamrock confetti, LOL

That tea cart is a wonderful thing to decorate, so I'm especially glad you found us and started doing it up for holidays now.
