Barbara Mcguire is great.....she has such a sense of "antiqued" or old looking. I think she is my favorite polymer person. These do look very interesting.

I love that look! Do I understand that the image will "leach" into the clay... or just transfer from the toner without doing anything to it? I'm wondering if DH's Canon copier would work? I don't have easy access to a copy center...

Hi akaLia !! Thanks for the speedy response. You know what - I did see the paperclay spot on the web and I'll check out the uk one. Thanks. I decided to order some ready-made from Axner pottery so I could really get after it. I want to make some big, big bowls inside a plaster mould. I tend to make lotz of tendrils and leaves and other things that stick out and since they are always breaking off, this clay may be the best thing to ever happen to this mud person !! They say it's the new clay of the 21st. century ! and since I am the queen of cracking, breaking and experimentation, I can hardly wait. I'll keep in touch. Will you ??? It's so much fun to check out this garden web. I just love it.

Waaah!! I missed it. I love Emi and her projects. I was ticked because the few times I caught Carol this week it was old, old reruns about Halloween that I'd seen at least twice before. :-( Was this the one? Asian-style Kozo-paper Box The little teapot is too cute! But I couldn't get the thumbnail pics to open large. Maybe they show a repeat of it today... :-) By the way, did you see the special Crafter's Country: Up North with Carol Duvall show that was on a week or so ago? The ceramics work of her son and DIL? Lia- I think part of the toner actually sticks fast to the clay. The toner is a powder which fuses to the paper from heat. The binder in the clay loosens the powder so it sticks to the clay instead. No solvents are needed.

Did anyone watch this show today? That bracelet came out beautiful.

I was so happy to catch it. I've missed several lately...
l loved how she did the bracelets. Was she using metallic clays in colors she mixed herself? Or were those PearlEx'd? (I had a distraction and couldn't tell if I missed something...)
I really loved the pendants!
