My sister bought the Samsung Quattro fridge and loves it. In fact, we all love it. I would get it in my kitchen remodel if it 1. came in countertop depth and 2. was offered in a 42" wide model or a taller 36" model.
The ice and water work great and are used all of the time. The drawer below the fridge has a top hidden drawer that we found to be very convenient. As far as how cold it is, the display shows the set temperature for each compartment and can be set as warm or cold as you like. I haven't heard any complaints from her on this.
Overall, I think this is a really fantastic fridge. The only one that I like better is the SZ with four drawers and costs $12K. A box better do more than just keep food cold for $12K!

Sadly, I have requested a pickup on the Quad that I just received last week. I could not wait to get that fridge and am surprised that I just didnt like it too much for multiple reasons:

The shelves in the main fridge section are not adjustable. Well, one shelf can be moved about 1 inch, none of the other ones can. With the things we tend to keep in the main part- they just would not fit well.

The fridge door bins have a wire that wraps around to help keep taller items from falling out. Well, the wire kept popping out when you tried to pull something out of the bin. This happened multiple times and we only had the refridgerator a couple days. Seemed like it would be a major pain putting up with that all the time.

I was unable to see in person the quad in the platinum color prior to ordering. It did not look good in my kitchen with my other stainless. I was worried about that but thought it would be easier to clean than the stainless. Also, the handles look really cheap, like crumped tinfoil on a silver platter. Just did not look good at all in MY environment. Had I ordered that stainless steel, I may have been able to compromise on everything else so that I could have those fresh food drawers which I really really wanted.

I can not say anything bad at all about the performance as far as temp goes. That seemed to work great!

I am headed back to Best Buy to check out the wire wraps, shelf and color.

ANother note:

Temperature in Fridge is not acurate. Mine only goes to 34 degrees (lowest setting) when sitting all night. otherwise it hovers at 36.8, which makes a difference.

Ice cube dispenser: If you choose crushed ice and go back to cubed, it takes about 10 uses before crushed ice stops mixing with cubed. Annoying.

I'm not impressed and regret buying it. for the price it should be darn near perffect!

The Stainless Steel version (only available at Best Buy) looks far superior to the Titanium version (only available at Lowes). The titanium looks cheap and fake...not as nice as the titanium finish of the LG refrigerators.

My SS quad has been awaiting delivery...if ever the contractor gets motivated to finish more of the kitchen.

I have had my Samsung Quattro for several months and love it.

Initially the bars around the condiments kept popping out just as another user mentioned. I took a small piece of saran wrap that I folded over a couple of times, placed it over the hole, and stuck the bar in. It has not popped out since.

The color looks good in my kitchen and never shows fingerprint. The temp is easy to control and keeps things VERY cold (and I love in the tropics). We use the ice maker and water all day, everyday and we've never had a problem.

I am giving my 3 yo Samsung side by side to our daughter. I originally wanted a french door but the ice/water dispenser was not on the outside at the time. Those who have had the four door for a while are you happy with it? They are pricier than I wanted to go - but I love the concept. Anyone know about the LG? If I get it at Home Depot right now it is $2250 after the 10/% discount. Have not checked Best Buy yet. Thanks to all.

Believe it or not, mine is still sitting. The water is hooked up, but I haven't turned on the water supply or the electricity since we are still a few weeks from moving in.

I really can't answer your question, but I didn't want to ignore it either since I am one of those RM255 owners.

I bought the Stainless model RM255. It was delivered on Thursday. Monitoring the temp 4 days now, it is usually warmer by 6 degrees when left overnight. It fluctuates from 3-10 degrees warmer, seems to lower temp the more you get in and out of the fridge. I am really concerned because many of you have had the same trouble. The only compartment that is giving me the correct temp is the bottom freezer it is giving me soft freeze on gatorade, which I love. I don't think I want to take the chance on keeping this past the 30 day return. I wish it could have worked out because the design was such a great idea.
