I've had both the regular Electrolux and the Dacor Epicure in the past 3 years. I have written much about the Dacor.
I have the Electrolux now and love love love it.
A few differences --
The Electrolux puts our a lot less heat to the front.
The ball bearing racks are easier to take out and replace.
I like the lights much better.
The heat is much more even.

The main thing is service. With Dacor I did not feel like a valued customer.
I did have an issue with Electrolux, in that the enamel flaked but they immediately replaced the oven-no quibble.

There have been a few on these boards who had good service. One guy had similar problems to what I had and on the third replacement they brought it from the factory to his house with a tech. I couldn't even get them to return phone calls. Sometimes they would promise to do something and then I would never hear from them. I can't account for the difference in service.

I had a Dacor double wall oven - it never worked right. Neither door ever closed correctly. The upper oven failed completely after 5 years. I never could get service and I finally replaced it - much too soon - this past Summer. None of the multiple Dacor appliances I purchased when we redid our kitchen have been trouble free. I will never buy Dacor again and cannot recommend them.

The Dacor is a better built oven. I know this because I service both ovens monthly in the field.

I would recommend Dacor over the Electrolux any day of the week. They both have common issues but the Dacor seems to have the least amount.

Dacor replacement parts will be a little more expensive.

Frigidaire makes Electrolux, In my opinion they have a long ways to go with this new brand. They have had several update kits already put on the market to fix issues with the ovens control. When I say they I mean Electrolux.

I know these units well and would put a Dacor in my kitchen before a Electrolux Icon oven.

I've had my Dacor wall ovens and cooktop for 6 years and I've posted as well. I can only say that I am very happy with the appliances and the service. My original oven had excessive condensation between the glass on the door. They replaced it with a newer, more expensive model. That model did need a software update but it's been trouble free since then - 5 years.

The circuit board for the Dacor I had billed at $1900 installed.

Besides the fact that the Electronics on my range and oven could not be fixed and neither oven could maintain any semblance of temperature, the fit and finish was awful. The doors were crooked on both ovens and the enamel was very soft and cracked on both appliances. If you want to see the quality on these products, pull a knob off of the range and compare to other ranges.

I know of the following Dacor ovens.
Neighbor with oven. It is maybe 8-9 years old and she has not had problems that I know of. One of the reasons I bought Dacor initially.

A cooking school has them a year older than mine, and they have never been right and they haven't been able to fix them.

Another friend who has had to replace the boards in her oven. Hers were a couple years older than mine.

An appliance salesperson told me hers was slow and she didn't think it was calibrated right but doesn't really use it.

Another person I met had a Dacor oven that doesn't heat right but she doesn't use it much either so never tried to get it fixed.

I use my oven constantly and bake quite a bit. We have a lot of parties and I load both of my ovens(Electrolux wall and Wolf DF 36" range oven) frequently.
I can say that the Electrolux preheats quickly and bakes, roasts and broils perfectly. The one issue I had, the tech came out and told me Don't worry, Electrolux will take care of you and they will destroy this oven, not recondition and palm off on someone else. AND THEY DID!

It would really be nice if you did your "Homework" before posting the "Poppycock" above. Had you bothered to even check the posts on GW, you would know that Fridigaire was bought by Electrolux, and Elux markets Fridigaire as their lower priced brands, and we see quite a few positive posts about the Fridigaire brand.

The Elux Brand is maketed as a mid-priced brand, while their Icons are priced a bit above that.

Elux has lead the way in many innovations as far as ovens go. Fully gliding out racks on ball bearings,"Coolest oven door in the industry", Perfect Turkey---fast preheat----etc etc etc!

Also had you read GW, you would see that "MOST" folks that bought the Elux ovens are very happy with them, both from a reliablity as well as a performance perspective. They have also been happy with the service they received if it was ever needed.

Elux did have a lotta Fridge problems a few years ago, and they did not handle those problems very well, but they learned from that, and we see few complaints as far as their ovens go.

Kinda Sad to see somebody with the title "Appliance & Refrigerator Repair", be so "unimformed" I guess you got your "Training" from Sales People? (Most who are not "Reknown" for their appliance knowledge).

Anyway, read GW, for a while, before making your next post, and that "Next Post" will certainly be more "Knowledgible" than the above, (Or at Least I HOPE)!!
