Those links are identical, and are to a realtor's page of recently sold houses. Realtors frequently change and update their company pages, making it difficult to refer to a specific picture at a future date. Possibly you can find a picture at some other source?

I'm not clear which room you are referring to in the slideshow.

But I agree that crown on a slope looks out of place. And that's probably why the original builder left it off. It's clearly not budgetary, as there is extensive architectural detailing everywhere else. Last year, I left it off a MB with a cathdral ceiling, even though the halls on both floors had crown moulding and I normally do crown moulding in the master suite.

I already read the site you linked, but thanks. The pictures I linked are of a house that has crown molding on a slop. The 4th pictures in row 1 and 3 show it. I am the original builder of my home.

So you're referring to the Great Room and Entrance Foyer. Got to admit, it doesn't look bad in a small photo. But, up close, it may look odd on your home. I know it would certainly look strained on the home I did last year. Maybe because the cathedral slope was at a lower angle, roughly 35Ë

Our home is very similar to the one in the pictures so I think we can pull it off. Our ceilings are very high in that room and it is the only room without crown molding. As in the pictures we have really wide (3 piece?) molding. I just did not know if it was a big interior design no no on a slope or if it was really based how the final product looked.
