05 trailblazer. 150k miles.
3-4 clutches burned up. Had a soft parts rebuild.
Shop said all other parts looked good.
Front pump failed after 500 miles. But truck was 500 miles from home.
Had new pump installed. Drove 600 more miles, away.
Truck is 1100 miles from point A for next yr.
Pump 2 failed last week.
Torque convertor is position by pump. Pump is new.
Any remote chance torque conv is cause of pump 2 failure?
Is at shop now. Tech will discuss specifics tomorrow.

Bought truck for $2k. I pulled trans. Shop did overhaul for 600. He gave me my money back. Paid 859 for new pump at shop 2. He gave me 600 back. So we got 2300 into it. And a lot of grief. Now, any new shop will prefer to tear trans apart to inspect and find issue so it will cost 1-2k for job. So it is for sale at 3k. Since all running "good" trucks are in the 5-6k range. Some gear head will buy it.
