OA, your table is wonderful!!! Your creativity came shining through again. Who da thought an individual cereal box could become such a cute dragon head? Only You my dear.

Couldn't find Lucky Bamboo, no problem you figured it out and used Bamboo Garden Stakes. We've missed having you here sharing all your fun posts you come up with.

BTW, besides a napkin, I will need some flatware, please. Never could master chop sticks! DGD (age 6) loves to eat with them. But then her favorite place to eat is HuHot.

This was such a fun table. Hope we'll be seeing more of you.

Frou, thank you. It is fun to see how differently we interpret our tables. OA, it said I have a kind and generous heart. Yachter, I had the vase first. I bought it cause I liked the shape. Karen, Jane said I was quick like a bunny.LOL It was a fast turn around, but I wanted to use the blue and white plates, I already had taken Phil's picture, and Groundhog Day is kind of a 1 day shot anyway. (Unless you're trapped in the movie, LOL) SG, thanks for letting me know. I like the part about prosperity and joy!! Pat, I have lots of bunnies for Easter!! Jan, I set a lot of my tables in my sunroom, and that white wicker set is the dining set out there. Nana, from your computer to the man upstairs!! I hope that cash flow comes true! Hi all! I'm new to the forums but I have an idea why this one doesn't get much response. It's not listed in any of the categories, it's only listed sort of alphabetically in the s's as The Single Life, it took me several visits to find it and I still have trouble remembering where it is on the list to click so I can lurk! Maybe someone should suggest to Spike? that it be made more visible, I know that there are a lot of singles on the forums. Just thought I'd pop in and say something and maybe someone else has had the same experience. My New Year's Resolution is to be proud of being single and not be so quiet. Happy New Year! Charlotte

Happy New Year to you, too! To take more pictures. There really is something to having an annual video diary of the garden. The Juniperus scopulorum I planted as 6 inch seedlings in 09 are now 5 - 6 feet tall. I have an apricot I planted as a 2 ft whip 2 years ago that's now approaching 8 ft. These are wins I should celebrate more! Last night I downloaded a couple of maps of champion tree tours in nearby towns. I plan to visit them over time. I'm hoping that will help me learn to work smarter, not harder by choosing trees that will grow here. And yes, worry less! I think that's on my list every year. Barb

Yes! I hope you were able to do 'take-out' ... if the cook was busy, that is! I really like how you did the banner up w/your 100 yr-old teacher supplies! (LOL!) And those bamboo garden sticks look great! What fun! Your cereal boxed fire-breathing dragoo is 'hot!' Love it! Looks like the GrKids' will have a great Chinese New Yr! Great bold colors... R&Blk! I'm always amazed that little kids love Chinese food. It's coloring and texture is so different from our usual fare. Still, my granddaughters would eat it for breakfast, lunch, AND dinner.
I don't live by a HuHut. Do they do the stir fry in front of you?

OA, they do grill your selection in front of you at HuHot. DGD and her dad go to HuHot while DD and I attend meetings. I've never eaten there but been to Benny Hanna's (one of DB's favorites) and I'm sure it's similar. Loved how they flip shrimp in your mouth while cooking.

Oh my old mind forgot to mention your 100 yr-old teacher supplies! Thanks Jeanne for the reminder. Lady, you crack me up and need to stay here and help entertain. U do very well for your age!!!
