I think the reason so many question the 48” is to find out the thought behind the decision. Not to be nosy or nasty, but to be able to give the best advice. For example, two weeks after we moved into our latest house, the range the previous previous owners left caught fire. As we were leaving in two days for a three week trip and planned to gut and remodel the kitchen the following year, if I had asked you all for a recommendation, you would have been able to give me advice specific to my immediate needs. And for the record, that $400 30” range we bought had only one flaw- the wires of oven racks were too far apart to prevent baked goods from falling onto the oven floor. The oven baked perfectly and the four burners were hot enough. However, the total remodel saw a 36” Thermador all gas replacing the $400 cheaply. The more exact information we have, the better and more accurate advice we can give.

No to artificial plants in the corner. Dust and insect collectors. The cats may bother them, too. Some cats will mark them. Place two of your chairs on each side of the curio cabinet and find some art work or sconces to frame the sides of the cabinet. Unless you are using the table, too many chairs will make it look crowded. Your curio cabinet is too small for the space, so putting the chairs on each side would help fill up the void. Move the lanterns to each side of the window. They would look better if you acquired a small stand to elevate them off the floor. Or, find another place for them in the house. Your flower arrangement is lovely. But, it is too tall for a dining table. You already have two tall lights on the buffet. Adding the floral arrangements would not work because they are tall, too. What you have on the buffet looks very nice. For additional lighting, you could add a small up light fixture that can't be seen on the curio cabinet. You can add a timer to it.

It would be on trend to add white for sure. I find it looks like someone could not make up their mind and it's in progress. I heard you on the clear glass but since the suggestion is all of them...perhaps you need to rethink clear as I doubt you want inside every cupboard viewed. A mix can work. The opaque glass saves you fussing with the inside of the cabinetry.

You've put the cart before the horse by picking the cabinet colour after the counter and backsplash. But that doesn't mean there isn't a solution - it just means you've made the job a little harder to find just the right colour to pull it all together. I see in your comment that you were trying to stay away from either grey or white. To bring together the elements which are now fixed (floor, counter, backsplash tile) you need to find a colour that will work well with all of them. They all clearly have a grey tone of one sort or another. But I think if you can find the right colour of "greige" that leans toward a cooler grey colour, it might do it. You'll need to pick up lots of samples and keep trying until you find what works in your space with the light you've got. Remember that light bulbs can vastly change the appearance of colour in your room so I'd start by choosing a bright white bulb (somewhere between 3000 and 4000), if you don't have that already. Then as advised above, take samples of your tile and counter, and flooring (if you have some) to a good paint store (not a big box) and find someone to provide some guidance on colour choices . I've had really good luck with Benjamin Moore people - YMMV. Here are some ideas.
