Christmas Tablescapes Part 1

Took a vacation day from work today and in between snowblowing the driveway (DH at work and we are getting a major dump!),I hope to post some of the tablescapes I did over Christmas. Hope it is "better late than never" to you all!

This is my Christmas Eve table setting for 12 of us. We usually do a buffet style (with homemade soups and appetizer type foods) but as there were so few of us this year, I thought I'd try a sit-down dinner...big mistake! It was too squishy for getting in and out and passing the food around. Mental note: no more than 10 unless I bring in another long table! It was fun to set the table though!

I created the centerpiece using a small tree that has a gold weave on some of its branches placed on a small faux evergreen garland that also has gold glitter on it. I stuck in gold grapes, balls and pine cones and flanked it with two different Santa ornaments.

I only have one set of Christmas dishes and they are so cheap, they don't even have a "name" but I do like them.

Both Santa ornaments on each side of the tree centerpiece (see Pic #2 for other one) are actually candles and are from Partylite years ago.

For those of you who are still enjoying your Christmas decor (like me!), I hope this post helped the "Christmas feeling" go on a bit longer!
