I have 3 PPf faucets and a tub filler from the 'Ashfield' line, the old fashioned looking trough faucet. I love the look, but there are a couple things to think about.

First, they don't really pound the water out the way a 'regular' faucet does. It's more like water coming from a hose at about half pressure. I think they put out as many gallons/minute, but if you want a strong stream for... I dunno, washing your hair, maybe? Do people still do that at the sink?... it might not be the best choice.

It's simple to get a glass of water [something I wondered about due to the width of the stream-- I think Kohler stopped making some models for this reason], and washing your hands or face is very pleasant. The stream of water arcing out is gentle, a very natural feel with no pounding or bubbles.

And the trough itself [on Ashfields, anyway] holds on to a few drops of water which will evaporate, leaving whatever minerals you have behind. I recently used a wax on the troughs to see if that helps. Even with relatively soft water, I have some deposits.

Also, when we have a power outage and get an air bubble in the pipes, the ashfields spit a bit right at you, as opposed to downards like a conventional faucet.

But I'd do every one of them again in a heartbeat. Mine have only been in a few months, so I can't answer for longterm dependibility [some people on these forums report bad luck with PPf], but they are fun to use, appearance wise, there's no substitute, and the look is so unusual they get a lot of comments and compliments.
