Converting shower to Steam Shower - N E 1 out there done it?

after enjoying amazing steam showers and spas in Turkey, we r considering converting a shower. This one has two walls already tiled floor to ceiling, another wall is glass block, and then the opening. We are contemplating installing Glass wall to replace the block, and a frameless door, all to the ceiling. The shower ceiling will need modification to create either a slope or curve so that steam doesnt drip on the user

I read that independant generators can be installed nearby (such as under sink cabinet or in the garage below...so long as there is a water line and of course, electricity). These things dont come cheap, and we arent in need of alot of jets etc...just a way to have an effective stream of steam heat up a 'cabinet' in the cold Northeast.

Pulling the whole shower and installing a prefab unit not a good option for the house style and also they are a bit large.

Ideas and experience??? would love your views
