Help me decide on type of bathroom mirror(s)

My new masterbath have a linen tower, then a 48 inch single bowl cabinet/sink area, dropped down from there is my vanity that is around 36 inches.

I have lights mounted on the wall above the area. I dont' know if I should get 1 large builder style mirror that would cover the entire area or use just 1 mirror over the cabinet/sink area or 2 separate mirrors for the sink/vanity.

Since the vanity drops down I can't imagine how it will look with 2 mirrors that would be even but the amount of wall space underneath would not be the same.

I suggest look at photos of bathrooms on Houzz dot com because you will probably find some with vanities like that and save or print the photos you like as your guideline for mirror selection.

Thanks Sue b - I have been looking on there and really haven't one that looks close enough to what mine does. Most have scones rather than a light above.

It's hard to tell from the picture what exactly but the bathroom is like. What size is the space with the toilet & sink? If it's small, you could go with a pedestal. They also have some pretty smaller vanities at www.Bertch.com or www.Masterbath.com (Home Depot)Once you decide on vanity or pedestal(get suite so they match), you can decide on tile for the floor. Wainscoting looks great with wallpaper or paint above it with pictures on the wall.I find that picking subtle works best & putting color in the walls or towels,etc. That way I don't tire of it.

I found a thread on GW that has a picture of a white octagonal mosaic with burgundy accents, scroll down until you see the picture. I think you are going to need to incorporate some of the elements already in the bathroom, and the tile trim color seems the most logical to carry through to the floor either with an accent in burgundy, or if you could find a burgundy floor tile- tile the entire floor with it. Pretty! I am doing a similar tile in my bathroom remodel right now. Are you only open to Sherwin Williams? Because Benjamin Moore has some beautiful gray bathroom colors, better than SW in my opinion. I’ve done a lot of research and made a lot of mistakes lol. Here is a good article. A 60” piece of furniture without a waterproof top does NOT fit in a 61” space. It would need to be a 68” space, minimum. 72” would be even better. You need 4” minimum clear space on either side gor cleaning and other maintenance. At 1/2”, you can’t even fit a pinky at the sides to swipe out cobwebs. Much less a paint brush. Plus, sinks at 43”H are virtually unusable. Water would run down your arms and onto the not suitably waterproofed vanity and onto the floor. The new standard height for vanity sink tops is 36” tall. Thats what an undermount ee sink and 36”H vanity gives you. You really need to put a full stop to this and hire a designer. Design isn’t about pretty colors and nice stone. Design is making sure the math works so you don’t expend effort on something completely unusable. Put that piece in a foyer or dining room, where it belongs.carry a tape measure with you wherever you go. Learn ergonomics and building codes and design standards. Or take the easy route and just hire the designer who already knows all of that.

I like a mirror with a frame stained to match the cabinetry like this first picture or two separate mirrors centered above each sink each with a fixture centered above each mirror. In this second photo there are sconces but I can imagine it with lights like one linked here, a pair of them, each centered over the two mirrors. A site to shop for possible lights is lightingdirect.

From my understanding you have one sink, with a counter that has 2 heights to it? If so, I think I would go with one longer mirror. I think it would look more uniform.
