Comments (3)chicagoans - You are exactly right, the interior is funky! As far as things I love about the exterior: you named most of them, stone, hardiplank, windows, door and shutter style, split garages, porch, aluminum over the roof, and just the layout and roof lines of the exterior. I have been looking everywhere for pictures of what I like and want so when I meet with an architect in March I can show him my 'likes' and see what we come up with as far as an interior floor plan. I will post some pictures in a little while of rooms and layouts that I like! Thanks for your response! I'm posting the link again since it appears to not be working properly in the previous link. Comments (1)For anyone that may be looking for this also, I found two builders that posted their plans. The Miller Park has clearly been modified, but it was at least good to see it as a finished product. Comments (3)What kind of climate do you live in? I notice that the only coat closet is very small and kind of a hike from the front door -- through the FR and past the door to the MB. I'd rather have a closet near the front door (but then again, we get all kinds of weather here!) I find it helpful to step back for a moment from the excitement of lofted ceilings etc., and think about the boring everyday stuff. Where will you put the vacuum cleaner and brooms? What is your path from the garage with arms full of groceries, and where will you set them down? If you have kids, where will they stash their backpacks and sports gear? After working in the yard, where will you take off your dirty shoes and wash your hands? When kids come in from playing outside, what is their path into the house and to the restroom? (Do they cross your nice carpet?) When someone comes in with a dripping raincoat and umbrella, where will you put them? If you have a plan that works for all your everyday activities then you're off to a good start!...See Moredavid_cary
