I saw a bathroom with black absolute granite wall to wall and to the ceiling. I liked it but I like dramatic colors. Lighting is very important to a dark bathroom.

Donna, the walls would be in a lighter colour but floor in this raven which looks quite dark but would add interest me thinks. I love dramatic too but not for this one.

I love the black floor and had planned it for my bath. I took a few samples home and laid them on the floor. They looked gorgeous. However, my blonde hair was all over it and I decided that the upkeep was more than i wanted to deal with. If I could have used them, I would have,

Bonnie, are you talking about the SAME tiles I linked? Haven't seen a sample yet, only looked online.

I believe that was one of the samples...i had several black tiles so I can't be sure. It didn't matter which one; the dark tile and my hair just were not meant to be. But I thought they were gorgeous. I'm not afraid of a dark room...I have no windows in my bathroom, but lots of light.

As I said, I think the floor is gorgeous. I was having trouble pairing it with a wall tile that I liked, however, because I didn't want white.

In the end, I ended up with 'flame' for the floors and the walls and a stone and glass mosaic accent. Black galaxy counter, biscuit fixtures.

Got some samples Bonnie, and while they look gorgeous, the dust and others things that fell over the last few days shows how much upkeep I would be in store for!
