Just returned home after being gone for 2 weeks...thanks to my son who came over and watered once or twice, they are doing great. Some are 3 feet tall, and Rock Star has huge buds already. A few more might have buds, but haven't had time to check them all. This week is in the 50s, so I'll move them back to the garage for night and outside during the day. If nighttime temps stay above freezing, it's out to the greenhouse soon!

I'd suggest having it at home also. Once you get started on these toddler parties, you end up being invited to every one and you have to buy a present too. It gets expensive very quickly. Could you possibly temporarily remove furniture from maybe the living room, dining room or child's bedroom to make more room? I think an indoor camping theme might be fun (without the sleepover). You could make tents out of sheets and blankets and have the kids play in there. Any other theme you might have going, like bugs or Elmo could be worked into it too. You could have hot chocolate and other appropriate foods. Fake foliage and stuffed animals could be used to dress up the area. I'm suggesting this because someone gave my two boys a play tent for Christmas and they love it. They'll take toys in there sometimes and play instead of running around the house. Have fun with whatever you do.

I have wanted a Cajun series Hibiscus for a while, and my hubby is going to buy me one my birthday! I have it narrowed down to 3: Creole Lady, Voodoo Queen and Gabriel. Any feeling either way about these 3? It will be a container plant and brought inside during winters. Logee's has Gabriel and Creole Lady in stock, but Voodoo Queen is on back order. There is an eBay seller who has Voodoo Queen, but it's $30 and I think it is a 4" pot. I just wanted to hear the experiences of others who have these beautiful plants. Thanks!
