tapeworm, my only suggestion is to persist with with your project. The fact that the product does not exist conveys to me that it must be impossible to extract with existing methods. Even if the process would have been frightfully expensive and/or complicated, it would have been discovered, documented and filed away somewhere. You may be at the same mental intersection where Friedrich Wohler was in 1828 before he synthesized urea. Thereafter, ordinary folk, scientists and fertilizer companies would use the term "organic" conveniently; to suit their own purpose.

With a steam shower, you want a vent right outside the steam shower door. I wouldn't depend on a single vent in the water closet to evacuate moisture in the entire room. I'll echo hemera's advice. If not two fans, then a single one with two grills.

What benefit is derived from steam in the washer anyway? Seems to me that steam in the washer must have been something dreamed up by the marketing wonks to sell washers (Ooooh, steam! It must be better...). For the life of me, I can't figure out what benefit steam would add in an already wet washer drum. If you wash in hot or warm water, you're going to have steam, anyway. If you wash in cold water, any steam generated by the machine would simply condense back to water, as soon as it came into contact with the cold washer drum or the cold water.

I was about to purchase a 48 inch gas range but last minute realized I do not want to clean that beast, opted for a 36" electric cook top/intentionally non-induction. You do realize an electric cooktop is actually harder to clean than a gas cooktop? Also regarding EMF's I'm assuming you also do the following to avoid EMF's? Turn off wifi at night, use radiation cancelling cases and headsets for cellphones, use EMF shields for PCs and notebooks, and avoiding dirty electricity in your home by never using dimmer switches. I hope you also use battery power for your electronics as much as possible as higher EMF exposure occurs when you use a laptop while it is plugged in. And I assume you don't have a microwave too?
