I am looking to buy a new washer and dryer set (probably a top loader but still undecided).

We are a family of 6 so I need a bigger capacity washer but I also need to be aware of how much we spend (bigger = more $$).

I am having trouble gaging the sizes based on the cubic foot measurements.

What size should I buy? 3.5 cubic feet? 3.8? 4.0? or higher?

Which size would be sufficient for my needs?

I don't know the size of my current washer as I did not purchase this one.

What size is yours?
