Thumbs up for nuLOCKZ hair restoration and my thinning hair

For the past several years I've been getting my hair TR'd which stands for thermal reconditioned. Although I love that my hair is straight all the time, I wasn't happy about my temple area thinning. I am in my 40's but still I think it's harder on a woman to lose hair than a man because it's more common with men? IDK but my husband started using nulockz hair kit and he is growing hair. We tried everything on him and he couldn't grow a thing until this. So I bought it for myself. My hair is not as obvious because it's long and I can cover it, but his is. Anyway, after several weeks, my hair is already thicker and I am seeing new growth which excites the heck out of me! Just wanted to share in case you guys needed something like this. I think it's all natural but not certain.

WOW, That is amazing Stars! I'm going to try it, and have my hubby try it too! I've ALWAYS had thin hair! Did you get it on line?

cheeky75, sorry it has taken so long for me to reply..been busy with christmas stuff. happy holidays by the way! yes you can only get it online. if you just type in nulockz.com it should get you right there. i would recommend getting a kit with the hair fibers, cause otherwise you would have to go back and pay more shipping and handling with another order. the reason i like the hair fibers is because you have instant results while you are waiting for the other products to actually give you new hairs. and BTW its no joke, those hair fibers are like magic...it looks like you instantly grow hair! where do you thin the most on your head? mine was mostly on my temples, but my hubby's back of his head and front area were pretty bad before we tried this. let me know what happens!

I bought a Conair, probably at Target. It has 1,000 watts. I use mine with dry hair in the am. You can detach the brush part and use as a hair dryer but it's not very strong. I usually flip my head down and use hair spray. Then I flip my head back and do the hot air brush in sections. Then spray again when done. I'm not one who likes to spend a lot of time on hair and makeup. I do my hair in just a few minutes. It doesn't look like I just came from the salon but it looks fine....just wish I could get and keep a little height at the crown. Mtn....thanks for sharing your brush. Looks like it might be easier to use than mine since the brush part is not so wide. I may give it a try.

Regarding mayo, the ingredients used to make this condiment are veggie oil (any type will do), egg yolks and acids such as vinegar and lemon juice. Egg yolks are often used in home hair treatments to strengthen and moisturize hair. It is thought that the combination of oil, egg yolk and acid (as found in mayo) work together to condition and restore moisture to the hair. I tried it many years ago, and while it left my hair shiny and silky, it also took many shampooings to get it out and left my hair feeling kind of limp and oily. How well it works probably depends on what type of hair each individual has. Eggs used alone as hair treatments are broken down like this - egg whites treat oily hair, yolks moisturize dry, brittle hair and using the entire egg is used as a general conditioner. To use a yolk or a whole egg, whisk and apply to wet hair and leave in for 1 - 3 minutes. Rinse well with cool water. To use whites, separate from yolk, mix with a couple of tablespoons of oil and beat until foamy. Apply to damp hair. Use your fingers or a comb to distribute thoroughly thru hair and leave on for 20 minutes. Rinse with cool water. Can horse hair indicate the age of a chair?

Hi there! I recently picked up some beautiful chairs from a recycling centre (in the UK). I have had very mixed answers so far about the possible age of these, from jacobean revival to 1960s. They have been recovered at least once, I have stripped the leather off and found horse hair and cotton lint as the padding, there are no springs and no screws and a very thin layer of foam that was added when it was last reupholstered. I cannot find any marks/signature on any of them. From looking and reading myself my best guess is between 1860 and 1920 but I'm clueless really. Could anyone please tell me what I have. I am going to restore them and I also don't know about what to reupholster with to get them back to ask close to original as possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you. Hajar.

I'm looking for one. Had a favorite but it is no longer made. (Lange was the brand, not L'ange.) Have some Suave extra hold mousse. Doesn't do much. Also some Paul Mitchel styling gel that is better but not as good as the old stuff that I ran out of. Tresemme gel isn't too bad. Have a travel size package of the Tresemme. Don't like it enough to buy a larger size so save that one for trips. Had some Rusk mousse that was pretty good but liked it less the more I used it. Never had any love for the Aussie products--just OK is all. Just got a haircut; chopped off a bit longer than LoneJack's. The longer & limp was driving me nutz! Winter hair/ lack of humidity & my natural curl deserts me. Ugh. Looking forward to garage sales this summer so I can stock up on an assortment of products to trial for cheap. Maybe I'll get lucky and find some of the Lange that I really liked.

She has had so many terrible things to overcome;
fortunately, she's managed to find products to cure all ills, & she's provided links to the sites where these products are sold.

I know, I noticed that too. Poor Starz, how are you still standing? But what a miracle it is that she has found all the sites to purchase what is needed to cure the many ailments she suffers from. Thanks Sylvia, I think we are witnessing a Christmas miracle! :-)

Yes and she lost from a size 12 to a size 5 without dieting. Amazing woman.
