Thank you!! My legs are not heavy but they're pale! I wouldn't feel comfortable, I don't think, with nothing on them. I'm 43- maybe I'm just too old or out-of-style. So you're suggesting nude hose with black shoes, right? I had been taught (7 years ago...) about being monochromatic for a slimmer, taller, better look so I'd have gone with the black but that's why I'm here - to learn from you guys. Again, thanks!

I also always wore Hanes Barely Black years ago & is what I ended up wearing on Fri for the photos. It looked perfect. Thanks. Michie

Sheer black with dressy dress unless you have really great looking legs and can go without stockings. The fashion experts recommend no stockings, but I can't do that unless I did a quick fake tan. I don't like the way nude or tan stockings look with dressy dresses in the winter or summer for that matter. I wear black tights with shorter skirts and flats. I think it is a good look, particularly with plaids.

busy bee- terriks posted a picture. The Hue are the same. The opening is stitched so your big toe goes through one hole and the rest of your toes go through the other. They look nicer than my roadmap legs when I wear business or evening attire. I have also been known to experiment with Dermablend on my legs, but it's way more of a P.A.I. than hose. I have a sample of Devine Legs cover up by Caudalie that I haven't tried yet. I've read good things about it and I use their line for skincare. I will try and remember to provide a review if anyone is interested.
