Advice needed: light beige tile with natural cherry?

The interior doors and trim in our new house are natural (unstained) cherry and will darken significantly with time. In our master bathroom, the vanity is cherry with a medium, reddish-brown stain, and the fixtures are white. Now I need to choose tile. I really like light beige tile: just dark enough to contrast with the white fixtures. However, I'm concerned that the natural cherry trim around the windows, which are above the soaking tub and also next to the shower, will stand out too much if I choose such a light color scheme. There are also four cherry doors in the bathroom although they don't concern me as much as the window trim. Would this work if we cased the windows in drywall (although the wood on the window, itself, would still show), used a darker listello, and used tile/stone baseboards? If it helps, my style is transitional. I'd appreciate any suggestions.
