We don't want to spend alot, but would like to know if anyone really likes their dryer and is it especially good at being quiet?

The biggest problem you may or may not have is the construction of your home. There is always going to be some vibration from a stacked set, much less a regular side by side. If everything is very solid, you are probably ok but if the structure is at all bouncy it will translate into the walls and be loud. There are any number of things you can do, and there are any number of options for washers but the structure will be the limiting factor.

I highly recommend CHI hair dryers and flat irons. I have very long hair and have struggled to find good tools that don't fry my hair. I have a CHI Rocket Professional 1800W and the ceramic heater and low EMF keep my hair shiny and soft without frizzing or drying. My hair dries very fast compared to my old Conair or other previous brands. I have had a few eventually die on me after a few years, but they work so well that it's worth the investment for me. I use the hair dryer every day, sometimes multiple times a day when I lap swim. I only occasionally use a flat iron (usually when my hair is being unruly and I have a strong desire to tame it), but I've been really happy with my CHI ceramic flat iron. Seems very gentle on my hair and always looks shiny and styled when I use it.

I always wished I had fabulous hair that might need a hair dryer that would benefit from having a pricey hair dryer. . I always had nothing special hair. It’s hair. Short and needs about 4 minutes to dry using a Target $30.00 dryer. Thanks for the sale info. I’ll pass it to the gals in my life, who have fabulous hair, to see if they are interested.
