Have not been here two days and am overwhelmed with posts! Spent the last two days in the hell hole of a hospital again. dealing with idiots, ignorance, and just plain rabid dog bed side manner from DOCTORS no less! CT scans, Gamama scans, more Xrays and many more lab and blood tests. Now allergic to paper adhesive tape. Both arms all bruised up from it and many needls. Right hand swelled and bruised, as well as two failed 'blood gas' tests that require 'scraping' a bone in your wrist where they take pulses from. Will be charged a second day stay as they delayed my checkout, AGAIN! Will now be writing many complaints to them, along with not paying bills I didn't want and have to deal with. More medications added to the big list (going into two pages now). Weak, short of breath, chest pains, under physical mental stress, even having tears and tirades were no help. More tranquiizers too.. This time its Ativan the 'loopy' drug. Don't need this, just get that hole dug soon. Soory for the sob story, but with things the way they are now, I may not last much longer. 35+ lb weight loss in 36 days?

Whatever happened to my photo? From now on I just may have to use total word descriptions. Season your meat any old way you like to have it seasoned. I used the Penzeys only because I got a nice collection of jars for Christmas and love their blends. Before Penzeys (BP) I would use the old fashioned garlic, pepper, fennel, oregano, bay leaf routine with anything else close to my fingers on the spice shelf. I made a meat pie the other night and used steak seasoning for the ground chuck, it worked out fine. Good luck and let us know how it turned out. I know exactly what you're talking about! Two times in my life: My grandma's hand towels in the bathroom would do this after a couple of days in the summer & they would have to be changed. You dried your hands and that smell! YUK! She had NO Air conditioning in her house either. I don't see how she stood it. She was very good at doing laundry and used bleach. This was a TL back in the 1980s when I was a teen. My cousin: She did NOT know how to do laundry properly. She would overload her TL washer all the time! When spending the night at her house and taking a shower and using their towels, I always could smell that smell. But I HAD NO CHOICE but to use it to dry off. YUK! A few times I helped her do laundry and I told her you're overloading that machine & those are not going to get clean. She rolled her eyes. There were times when a load she had put in the washer and asked me to go put them in the dryer and I opened the washer & packed full. No way were they clean. It was so hard for me to put that mess in the dryer, but I did. I mean, what else can you do? Some people just don't "think" when it comes to some things. The ONLY time I can think of this happening to me is with the microfiber kitchen cloths I use. I'm always washing the kitchen sink out with HOT waster and dish liquid, then continue on to wipe the kitchen counters down with bleach water. But for *some* reason, that dish cloth will get that smell after about a week. I think the reason I don't change it as often as a should is that I'm constantly cleaning the dish rag itself in hot water and soap and even use bleach to clean with it. So I don't know. Perhaps because it's wet a lot long and hangs on the faucet to dry over and over? None of my other towels have that smell when wet. Only a fresh smell but I change them every couple of days. I only buy towels that I can use bleach on. I always feel like LCB really gets rid of that smell and makes it smell fresh even when the smallest amount is used. Can't imagine using LCB and STILL having that smell.

The cherries in the freezer are already pitted. I sat down in front of the tv last night and just pitted away. I think I am going to just pit the apricots and dip them in some vitamen C tablet disolved in water and then just freeze. I may take some and roast in the oven until tender and go ahead and puree and freeze in ice cube trays. Funny story, Rhiannon as I have mentioned will eat any and all veggies and fruits she started when she was less than a year old and she didn't even have teeth yet. She takes her little bucket out and picks spinach and green beans and eats them just like that. Also loves rhubarb and any and all fruits. Peyton who just turned 3 finally will eat carrots, celery and apples and that is about it, she has been exposed to the same things and just won't eat veggies and fruits. For breakfast, Hayden had a bowl of quarted fresh apricots. I was picking cherries from a smaller cherry tree and some branches where down to the ground, and all of a sudden I turned around and saw that Hayden was picking and eating cherries out of the tree. He also loves squash and beans, and all other fruits. It is funny that all 3 were exposed to the same things but Peyton is so picky and Hayden was eating fresh fruit at 9 months. I know that it helped that I make all my own baby food. Some of the apricots will be made into puree for the new baby and I plan on defrosting some cherries to make into puree too. I freeze in ice cube trays and then transfer to large ziplock bags and it is so easy. Not to mention so much more healthy than commercial baby food. when they are old enough I use one of my 4 baby food grinders and grind up what ever we are having for supper. Well should get to pitting the apricots. I may go and get some more this afternoon. The gentleman said to take as many as I want. I also have some green beans to turn into baby food, I made a huge batch for Hayden's birthday and have plenty of left overs, I picked yesterday and will need to pick again tomorrow.
