Finally! Last night I smeared a combination of hot vinegar (microwaved 2 minutes and an equal amount of blue Dawn. I had used it last year (guest bath only used once a year). I followed the directions, just let it sit and the bottom of the tub looked great. It did not budge the insane soap scum on the side of the tub. The tub was only used during Christmas vacation by our adult daughter who never cleaned. I was in panic mode tonight and saw someone above mention Awesome Cleaner from the Dollar Tree. I put a little water in the tub to wet the vinegar/dawn mixture from last night, swished my scrubber pad in it to wet it. Poured Awesome powder on it and thanked God because it worked! I could not believe it worked and was in panic mode because my daughter is bringing her boyfriend in town with her! Now if I could just get the rest of the house presentable!

I just got a new ruvati stainless steel sink in a 60/40 split. It took me forever to decide because I felt I had to get a large single bowl. I finally chose what I felt I would like the most and I love it. I've had it three weeks and am so happy with it. I have two friends that each redid their kitchens and got single bowls and regret it so not everyone dislikes the double bowl sink. I'd never want a 50-50 double but the 60-40 meets.all my needs.

Okay, my LR space is actually very small. Was designed by a Honeywell engineer and not an architect. It looks like a large area, but first he "sank" it. So you can't knock a wall down or anything to enlarge. Then he put in two BIG entries into , so literally half the room is a walkway. Plus an open concept plan, so very few walls to put table. If you are wondering why we purchased such a poorly laid out house....you should see our view! But the gist of all this is my table is really located in the only possible spot. And the pony wall to the left is only about 18 inches, so not possible to put against there. I just never eexpected that the foyer spot I envisioned would not work!

I have a GE electric range, not induction, installed in July of 2019. It came with a trial bottle of Weiman cleaner. I spray with a diluted solution of Dawn every time I use the stove, which helps. I then clean with the cleaner and a paper towel. I have had to use a razor blade once, but as Nekotish said, it does not get rid of the haze. It took me several times with the cleaner to get rid of that. I will be buying the stronger to have on hand. Cooking Christmas dinner did it to me, I DID NOT want a smooth top. I had had coil all my life and there are advantages to coil, but you can no longer buy quality coil stoves and the parts were not available for my old stove. Gas is not available and I did not want it. Induction would of meant rewiring the kitchen and throwing away all the pans I like. I have reached acceptance with the constant cleaning of a smooth top. It is now like wiping the counter and running the dishwasher, lol. I have learned to NEVER cook without cleaning the top.
