I am in the same process - just starting. We are looking at double 30" wall ovens (convection in one or both) and a 36" cooktop or rangetop. I have not used these but am leaning toward Thermadore or Wolf ovens- but there are some posts about the blue inside of the Wolf cracking. I have friends that LOVE the Thermador- so am looking for comments good or bad. There are two series for the Thermador- Professional and Masterpiece. I peeked at Jenn Air- on;y because I liked the look of the outside- and the handle matches that of the SubZero fridge but have not investigated further. As for the cooktop/rangetop. I am looking at Thermador or Wolf as well. BUT will take a peek at the Monogram. My sister-in law had lots of trouble with her GE appliances- so I steered away- but others are happy.

If someone is trying to sell you a dryer, for long run applications, that is not a true statement. Beware of of that. All dryers are made to dry clothes at a cirtain speed, and to a spec sheet. If they were to change the speed of the motor, it would just use more energy, and get less drying as the speed and the finns on the impeller are disigned to move x amount of air at a speed that the heat will dry your close in a specific amount of time. For instance, it will move 135cf per minute, more than that your dryer is running long times and not drying properly. Now that I have said all that, what you need to do, is contact a venting service, that can come and look your system over, and you said you had only 2 90's and 50 feet, I have had them over 100' and 8 90's, and we installed on inline 4" fan/housing in the duck, and had a power line connected to the dryer, so when the dryer started up it also powered up the discharge fan/housing installed down line to help move the air, but also you have to install one that will not change the speed of the dryer motor discharge. Your local venting installer, some of the furnace firms have people that are fully experienced in this sort of addition, or long venting problems. Hope this helps you. Brent@CanBC

We had a pebble tec application done a few weeks ago. The chance of rain was high that day. The PT crew plasters 3 pools a day, they dont like to postpone, unless necessary. We were scheduled to be pool number 2, was wishing for pool number 1, and was glad we werent pool number 3. They told me they tent the pool and apply in the rain. However, if it was thundering and lightening they would wait out a passing storm before cancelling. We are in Florida, the weather is unpredictable. It litterally started raining as they were finishing up. They placed a submersable pump in the bottom drain and told me not to worry, that the plaster had cured enough and the rain wouldnt hurt it. I touched the walls and they did feel hard as a rock. We got 5 inches of rain that night. The next morning (Saturday) pebble tec came back and set up 2 pumps, it was pouring at 8 AM when he arrived. He was going to come back when the rain let up, but never returned. He said it was thundering and lightening and the boss called it a day....they then acid washed on Monday. The pool had dryed up Saturday afternoon. I was very worried about how long they could wait until they acid washed. Everyone had a different story to meet their needs. Some said it could be done in the rain, others said it really should dry without water for 24 hours....I still dont know the "real" truth, if there is one. It all worked out in the end. Actually what worried us more was the fact that the pool didnt have water in it...we were afraid of it "popping", even though the bottom drain was removed. We got so much rain, that the submerseable pump ran non-stop. I was never told to worry about temperature. We used 2 garden hoses too. We had wished they had plastered a few days earlier so we could have taken advantage of the free 5 inches of rain we got that Friday night into Sat morning:)

I just had the same done. They did not tile under the dishwasher and the stove (range) was not an issue because there are leveling legs that adjust the height.
