Here is a good recipie for my grilling friends! Title: Bbq Chicken And Andouille Hash With Poached Eggs Yield: 1 Servings Ingredients 6 oz chicken breast 1/4 c prepared bbq sauce 1 salt and pepper 2 tb olive oil 2 c diced cooked potatoes; -1/2-inch dice 1/4 c small diced onions 2 tb minced shallots 1 c chopped andouille sausage; , - (8 ounces) 1 tb minced garlic --------------------------POACHED EGGS-------------------------------- 4 eggs 3 tb sliced green onions -------------------------SAUCE PIQUANTE------------------------------- 1 tb olive oil 2 tb chopped onions 2 tb chopped green onions 2 tb chopped celery 2 tb chopped green bell peppers 1 tb minced shallots 1 tb minced jalapeno peppers; -seeded 1 tb minced garlic 1 tb chopped fresh basil 1 ts chopped fresh thyme 1 ts chopped fresh oregano 2 bay leaves 1 c peeled; seeded and chopped -italia 1 c chicken stock 1/2 ts salt 1/2 ts cayenne pepper 2 turns fresh black pepper 1 tb unsalted butter Instructions Heat the grill. Season the chicken with salt and pepper. Brush the BBQ Sauce on the chicken, coating the breast completely. Place the chicken on the hot grill or broiler and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side. Set aside and cool. For hash: In a saute pan, heat the oil. Add the potatoes and saute, shaking the pan occasionally, for 2 minutes. Add the onions, shallots, and andouille and stir-fry for 1 minute. Small dice the BBQ chicken and add to the andouille mixture and saute for 1 minute. Add the garlic and season with salt and pepper, stir occasionally for 4 minutes. For poached egg: Bring 3 cups of water to a boil with 1/2 teaspoon white vinegar and 1/2 teaspoon salt in a small saucepan over high heat. Crack an egg into a cup and slide the egg gently into the water. Crack another egg into the cup and when the water returns to a boil slide this egg into the water as well. When the water returns to a boil, reduce the heat to low and simmer until the eggs are set, about 2-2 1/2 minutes. Drain on paper towels. Yield: 4 servings SAUCE PIQUANTE: In a sauce pot, heat the oil. Add the onions, green onions, celery, bell peppers, jalapenos, shallots, and garlic over high heat. Add the basil, thyme, oregano, and bay leaves. Saute for 2 minutes. Stir in the tomatoes, stock, salt, cayenne, and black pepper and bring to a boil. Cook over high heat for 2 minutes, reduce the heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes. Stir in the butter and remove from the heat. To assemble, spoon a small amount of the sauce in the center of the plate. Place 3/4 cup of the hash on the sauce. Top with the poached egg and garnish with shaved green onions.

thanks alek, i prefer to get their conversion kit. It allows me to go back to propane if ever needed. (Or return it to Costco if some appropriate reason came up.) Of course I can fine tune their converision kit if I decide that 15K btu isn't enough although I'm guessing it will be fine (as spamdamn points out). Anyhow, mainly I'm just trying to figure out if my gas network off the meter is going to be able to handle all this extra capacity. Anyone have any opinions as to how 'over engineered' the code gas tables are? (or how not over engineered)? It is looking like I'll be over tapped if I add the grill unless going back to the trunk of my gas network and upgrading from 3/4" to 1". Of course this assumes that every appliance is on high and all at the same time which would rarely if ever be the case. (Basically a 50K btu furnace, two gas fire places, one 31k btu and one 40k btu, and this. And it is rare that both gas fire places are on at the same time, in addition to the fact that they are both turned down from their max settings, probably to about 75%). Oh - and if anyone knows, do I count the 12' quick connect hose as an additional 12' in my calculations for gas code? thanks, philippe

Thank you all for repsonding, I'm reading posts over now. I just got back and WILL be having knee surgery the 1st week of Oct. I'm very bummed as I really thought it was improving but not. I was unaware but my knee has got arthritis,debris and shredded cartilage inside it-blah. This put's off my travel job til mid Dec. Darn. I think I will take Sweebys adivice & go to counseling on my own 1st. It is strange the tone in which he said to me "Are you sure YOU can HANDLE it." emphasizing those two words. Though perhaps I am reading to much into how he says things-but I don't think so.. Anyway, I have to go to work this afternoon & hopefully cram as many days as possible into the next 3 weeks so I can cover my bills while I'm off. I am going back & forth about the surgery. I could wait and not do it for a few months it is not emergent or anything but it will not get better without it-period. It's a matter of how much pain can I tolerate on a daily basis for how long. A lot but I am taking as much pain medicine as I am willing too now. I will not take anymore or higher doses, for me that's just not an option as addicition runs in my family tree and I do not want to risk that. Oh boy, I am just not looking forward to another 3-4 sentence served at home without working. Doc says he normally doesn't encourage people to have surgey so soon but feels this will really help me with my pain and put off a knee replacement for 10-15 years. DH is supportive and says he will come home from the job to drive me home from surgery. I'm on the fence. We'll see how I feel after this week. I'm not sure I'm willing to do "the time" afterwards. That actually wasn't my point, I don't think there is anyway to tell (how much contact anyway) would have happened or not....which is my point. They weren't given a chance to establish a coparenting relationship on their own and make it a stable one before introducing more characters. I think there is no way possible to tell how it would have ended up. I look at when my ex and I separated and if anyone had made a judgement on how we coparent even a year after separation --- they would have been very, very wrong. I know we talked about it on another post, but even 14 years ago there wasn't very many good resources on blending families. Counselors, in my experience, varied wildly and even now, I think most are pretty uninformed about stepfamily issues. And yeah, we went to family counseling when I was a child and it mostly made issues worse. Most (again ime) go with the popular thoughts of every child wants a family, so stepparents act like parents etc. The problem I see with that advice given to you is that it only works if the BM is on board with it. And you can't make her include you in every single little thing. It also makes it sound like she was the OW that had a child with your husband and you need to protect your marriage at all costs from a threat, not an ex wife that divorced your husband for a reason. To me, dropping off a picture at work is small potatoes -- so she sounds fairly normal. Now if she was insisting on holidays spent with DH without you, you got a big problem and there would be a need to treat this like a bigger issue. And on the flip side, I'm sure there are issues that she would've liked to resolve differently that happened. I also can't imagine many BM's going along with include new SM in everything in saying that, it sounds to me that she is more on the reasonable side than most after a divorce. With my BM hat on, I'd think it was just downright strange. I didn't have a kid with SM, I don't really care what they set up for their marriage, its their business! Not mine. Whatever they want to do in their home, great, why are you insisting I act your way though? When people get married they dont start going to work for each other or calling their bosses about important work details, why any different for ex's? Its like when wives say they write their husbands emails for them, I can't wrap my head around it. Why? So if they are a horrible writer, why not give them the tools to become a better one? (I should take my own advice here lol) Instead of doing their homework for them?
