I believe Weber enforces a specific price point for their grills so you should expect similar prices at authorized retailers and etailers. At least this was my experience about 2 years ago. The only time I have ever see Webers on sale is at the end of the grilling season. I got mine for quite a bit off but it was a floor model which they needed to clear out for next year's model. I have been very satisfied with it so I hope you will be as well. I have also found Weber to have good customer service. BTW, you do not get around sale tax by buying from an out of state etailer. It is highly likely you live in a State that has Use Tax. It is basically sales tax that was not collected by the seller and by law, you are supposed to report your out of state purchases and pay the tax. In practice, it is not easy for States to enforce.

I think it's luck of the draw. I bought a dehydrator last summer at Aldi's was so pleased with it at first. I use it for making sweet potato chips for my dogs treats every month or so. Last week, I pulled it out & set it up. In the morning,there were half-dried chips & a dead dehydrator. I bought a better one, knew I shouldn't have tried a cheap one in the first place. So often the really cheap appliances break, it's so wasteful..

You will love it!!! kam76, it's a Monogram range and the backsplash is Saltillo Imports tile in 2x4 metallic glass "Las Vegas" color. You might like to check out Thynes' finished kitchen reveal -- I first saw the backsplash there and copied it exactly from them. I'll like Thynes' reveal at bottom. Thanks also Mgoblue85 & a2gemini. williamsem & lavender, for the roasting I first par-steam the veggies for about 8 to 10 minutes, then lay them on a baking sheet, spritz with oil and spinkle whatever spices tickle your fancy. For the oil, most people would use EVOO but I actually use canola-based cooking spray as I just prefer the flavor of the spices to the oils and canola is rather tasteless which is good. Plus the "easy" factor of the cooking spray is a plus. :) Then just roast for however long it takes to get a nice carmelization. That just takes a bit of experimentation based on how your oven cooks. My previous oven didn't roast veggies well on convection but it only had one setting which I think was more optimized for baking, so I found there that baking at 425 for 30 minutes worked best. With this oven, I do them at 400 for 25 minutes on convection roast. But it all depends on how long you pre-steam (I steam to *almost* al dente and then roast from there). pbenn the hood is also a GE Monogram and it goes to 1200 cfm on the high side -- not sure what the low side is but I'd guess about 300 cfm? I wouldn't let a 750cfm hood stop you from grilling!!! Heavens, I remember my dad searing steaks on his old electric stovetop in the castiron pan with the crappy builder model hood. Never stopped him! Mind you, half the time the kitchen smoke alarm went off LOLOL and we'd be batting at it with the dishtowel. Ah, fun fun memories. :-) Okay, so you don't want to do that! But I really honestly think that you'll be fine with a 750cfm fan. Maybe you'll need the teatowels handy at smoke-alarm-central if you hit the grill with water on high to clean it, so you might just want to skip that part ... but for the rest of it, no problem!! sjhockeyfan, LOL. Yes 16 glorious ounces. What a pigfest, ha ha ha. And not a morsel left to spare! Mind you we were absolutely stuffed, but in a good way. No room for dessert that was for sure.
