I grew it this year for the first time. It's beautiful! I bought plants from Walmart last year in bags, labeled "Blue Hollyhocks". I was so eager to see a blue one, but I was pleasantly surprised with two Nigras and one Watchman, which has a little more frill in the center. Mike is on the money here, as usual. If you have access to natural gas you will realize major savings. If I was putting in a new cast iron boiler I'd use a Buderus.

I'd make the room to accommodate the deeper dimension of the Little Giant set. I think most regular sized sets would need 36" depth or deeper to accommodate the dryer venting. You could locate your set in an area that if ever the really deep sets are needed, it wouldn't be too big of a deal, maybe just moving a few cabinets. Beats having to relocate doors and traffic patterns. In my room, I had no choice and went with the regular sized Miele. A Little Giant won't ever fit :(
