Thanks everyone...I'm so glad you all like it. I was really proud of myself with this..lol...thought it turned out really cute...and it will look even cuter once all the flowers come in. My husband was going to through this out during Spring Clean Up last month and I DEMANDED that he let me have it..LOL. Oh, and guess what!!!! Our other charcoal grill fell apart and he said to me..Here, use it as another planter somewhere...LOL!! WOO-HOO!!! Anyway...I loved seeing everyone elses grill ideas and think it's sooooo funny we all thought of using the Celosia....well like they say..great minds think alike..LOL. Below are just a few pics of my front yard and then the back of the house. Just to show why it's in the front yard and not the back..lol. I'm standing on my front porch steps here.See my grill planter? Looks cute huh...LOL. And that bench was the old bench on the deck outback. This area still needs work. That is this coming weeks project. Off in the distance is my son's trampoline and that feeder next to the Y tree is for the deer. We get at least a dozen every morning and every evening. Another reason why there isn't alot of flowers around here..lol. Here I'm actually on the porch looking down the driveway. I'm on the steps again lookin to my left now. That is my truck and behind it is the huge open field that my landlord owns. We up keep just to that bush and tree line. And here is the back. WOODS!!! LOL. Right behind out house is a huge barn we share with the landlord, and a stone drive. That's it. Nothing pretty about that huh..lol. Looking to the side of the house off the deck. Again..woods and LOTS of poison ivy...OH IT'S BAD THIS YEAR!!!

I have a couple gas grills (now planters). When I was living up north I put purple stripped petunias in one and set in my driveway. The petunias grew like crazy and even drooped over the sides. They had 50/50 sun shade. Wish I could find a picture. On the bottom shelf(by the wheels) I had decorative vases.

Thanks for the feedback. I would really like to hear from somebody that has the Wolf grill how the veggie/hamburger grilling is. Another thing that irks me with the Wolf is the fact that the grill cover is not at the same height with the burner grates on each side. The monogram has it where the grill and the burner grates are all even so you have a 36 inch wide continuous surface. I really like Wolf, but more I think about it, their AG just does not appeal me. Plus they will be re-designing the model. Capital does not have a dual fuel right? For under $6000 with a discount, to me the Monogram seems like a great deal as a dual fuel professional stove. Not much raving about it, but also not much complaints either.

MichelleDT unfortunately those particular Kamado's (komodo) are garbage. The guy making those is a scam artist and I wouldn't buy one for $100. The one I have is the "Vision Grill" which is sold by Costco for $540, complete with cart, side boards and very nice cover. It is about the same as a Big Green Egg although they are usually in the $1000+ range. The one I have is a "real Kamado" type grill, comes with a lifetime guarantee. The company seems to be top notch and very responsive. On mine the first time I used it the firebox developed a crack which is not all that unusual for these types of grills, however I emailed the company, got a response from the CEO in 5 minutes and without any questions sent me a new firebox that very day that I received 6 days later free of charge. I now have 2 fireboxes, as the one that is cracked could last another 10-20 years or more then I have a lifetime of fireboxes. I just took the new one left it in it's popcorn packaging and heavy box and stored it away for when its needed. "Most" Kamado style cookers are actually in the $800-$1400 range, Big Green Eggs are probably the most popular, Primo's, Kamado Joes, Grill Dome, Saffire. There are numerous ones, I chose the Vision Grill because I could buy it from Costco which means both excellent price and best return policy ever and I could just go and buy it and not order online. It was a chore for my wife and I to move it to our back deck however because it weighs like most Kamados about 250# and we have 37 steps to go down from our car to front door. For the price I do not think there is a better BBQ/Grill/Smoker available anywhere. This is ours on our deck smoking away, have cooked on it 5 times so far and everything has come out perfect especially the Prime Rib. this is the inside firebox. Comes with very nice heavy duty thick stainless racks, it is 19" across. and a nice heavy well made cover.
