As you can probably tell from the number of entries in this newsgroup, there are a lot of fans of the Members Mark Grill available at Sams Club. I am a new owener of this grill and am extremely happy with it. So far I have done rotisserie chicken, burgers, chicken breast and wild turkey on my new grill and this grill does an awesome job. Installation is very easy, and for the money, you can't beat it.

MHP makes a real nice product. Broilmaster is cast Aluminum but one of the best ( and oldest) cast grills on the market. This is a company which has changed hands recently but they make a legendary grill. Remember one thing when it comes to Grills. You get what you pay for. I don't think that you can get a durable stainless grill for less than $1000. I am sure I will get some who will say different but the cost of quality stainless steel (say 304 which has a high nickel content) is quite high and gets higher every year.

I have a Honda Odssey and it barely fit. I folded down the third row seat and was able to push it in until it hit the brackets that the third row seat attaches to. Was extending maybe about a foot out the back but that was enough to get it home. I believe that the actual dimensions of the box are more along the lines of 47" X 46" X 26". There is a base to it on the bottom of the box that sticks out about 5" or 6". You can try ripping those off to maybe save another 3 or 4 inches (the wheels of the grill protrude out thats why you dont save the entire space). I don't think you can fit it into an SUV unless you have something like a Suburban. Good luck.

We have a newer grill with infrared. Brand is Blaze. To get that good smoky flavor, we use the traeger smoker. Sad that you have to own two methods of cooking outside. Our Traeger is a pellet smoker, so you do get that good wood flavor, but we use it for slow cooking. Steaks must go on the other grill. Nope! It doesn't have lava rocks. Our previous one did, was built in, and was far superior to the new one here at this house. Sometimes I just want a regular charcoal grill. Even a hibachi I remember at our other house where we did have lava rocks, I would soak wood chips, wrap them in heavy duty foil, poke small holes in the foil, and they would release a lot of smoke. I forgot about that trick. Might try it on our Blaze tonight.
