Could you put shower where your vanity is? So a large corner shower, right angles out into room, angle where the vanity is. Tub beside shower, a free-standing soaker? Then toilet where shower is now, and vanity where tub is? This gives you a much bigger shower, much more useable vanity, and less space for tub, but enough for a soaker. Do you utilize the wall where your mirrored doors are in the closet? If not, you could take maybe a foot or so from your closet and add it to BR. Or, keep the 66" in closet, just make the 60" into one 30" door, pocket or swinging. and build a half wall of shelves/storage in the closet.

I like AlabamaNicole's recent plan, but here are a few thoughts....first, I would make the door from the main part to the toilet area a pocket door, thus eliminating the swing-in area -- there are a lot of doors there. Also, I would consider bringing the vanity all the way across to the shower -- a small thing, but every inch of countertop is useful, imho. I do agree, though, with the other posters who mentioned the advisability of having this pool-bath/master bath set-up. I'm not sure I would want it that way in the long term. In my old house we had a master bath that had an additional door opening to the kitchen, so it was frequently the guest/backyard/muddy cleanup bath as well as my "sanctuary" (ok, not really so much sanctuary there, lol!). It was one of the things that really bothered me the longer I lived in that house. Also, if you're trying to take a peaceful bath, shower, or whatever, do you want the kids in the backyard noise & fear of entry? If this is a new house that you're building, I would consider bumping out an additional 5x7' or so along that outside wall to house a small bath with just a "hosing off" shower area. That would also give you 7 additional feet of interior wall in which to place plumbing, besides making your master more private and giving you more layout options. If it's an existing house, I'd keep re-thinking the plan to see if you could make the space into two separate baths.

Painting only the wall cabinet will make it jump out. You really need to spread color around. Don't paint until you have selected your rug, towels and accessories. It's easier to match paint to accessories than the other way around. What is your favorite color. That is the place to start. The rug is the largest splash of color. I don't see where you will place towels so I can't tell how much of an impact they will make. Because Benjamin Moore has some beautiful gray bathroom colors, better than SW in my opinion. I’ve done a lot of research and made a lot of mistakes lol. Here is a good article.
