I have been looking for this tomato for a long time! I would love to try it. Just the story behind it makes it interesting enough for me to try it! I wish there was just a little more info about it in the book. Christy

Christy, I'm not sure what you mean by a long time, for Amy first listed it in the 2006 SSE Yearbook, only one person relisted it in the 07, from CT, and in the 08 the CT person didn't relist it but someone from CA relisted it.

So in the 2008 just Amy and the CA person listed it.

No Trudi, it wasn't what you call an unwarranted snark. Absolutely nothing was meant by my comment other than what I said, and implicit in my comment was the fact that I think that older folks such as myself have a different concept of time as related to what younger folks see as short versus long times.

To me, having a variety first listed in 2006 in the Yearbook and being available to SSE members, as opposed to the current 2008 time frame, is a short time.

I am sorry! I guess through all my online searches and such after reading her book, it seemed long to me, and my "long time" only meant like a year, (maybe last spring). I guess I should of said " a while" or such, now that I think of it, a "long time" does sound out of range for what I meant. Sorry about that! Happy Holidays! Christy

Different folks have different ideas as to short and long timespans as Christy herself has pointed out in her post above.( smile)

Carolyn, who thinks it will be a short timespan before the newest snowstorm hits, like tonight into tomorrow, and this after the huge ice storm we've had here in the NE. Sigh.

I looked around for this variety for you Christy....and although they are availbale, I only found the seeds thru 2 places, and both were for 'paid members only' . And I am not a memeber at either site, Sorry :(
