Gas range - 36" premier vs. reg. 30"

Hi all -
I'm hoping someone can help solve my dilemma. Our gas range died and we need to replace. We live in a small town with not much available locally. Also have a family of 8, do a lot of cooking, and canning in the summer. I am able to fit two pressure canners on my old 30" range at one time, but it is kind of a juggling match, something with more room would be really nice.

At this time we are not ready to spend the money on a higher end range, so my choices are another 30" gas range (whirlpool) or looking online I did find the 36" 6 burner premium pro range. What reviews I could find seemed split, some seem happy and some aren't. I realize that it cannot be compared with higher end stoves, but how would it be compared to a regular $900 gas range? We have been without an oven for about 2 weeks now, and I really need to make a decision!

Should I stick with what I can find locally? Or should I bite the bullet and try the 36"?
