...and came into the house in one of my peace lilies. I have them in the walkout basement where they get good light, but the temperatures are in the low 60's.
I did not notice it in the pot until I went to water about a week ago. It was almost white, but I notice it changes with the amount of light in the room. I think it "thinks" it is hibernating, but it does not have the protective eyelid drawn, and I notice its mouth is moving. It has stayed in the same place for the entire week.
What shall I do? I need to water the plant, but don't want to startle it and don't have proper equipment to try to keep it alive over the winter in an aquarium or other source. Our nightime temps are in the high 20's right now. Can I take it outside and dig a hole and cover it with leaves? What would be the best solution?
