Why did this 1 plant only have no fruit?

Hi, as usual, I planted about 14 different varieties of tomatoes this summer, the maximum number I can plant in my yard. Since space is limited, I grow only one plant per variety. All plants were in nearly identically prepared beds, watered on the same days, and fertilized twice during the entire season.

I grew Orange Strawberry for the first time; it grew nice and tall, flowered, but it is now the end of summer and it has yet to produce a single tomato. Very mysterious. I know its not from over-fertilizing, as I only did it twice and I am careful about things like that. Plus all my other plants produced normally.

Did I just get a bum seed, or is this a real late producer? It looks ready to be yanked out. Why would this happen? I am willing to try again next year, but...

Any theories?
