I've seen several of these little guys in my flower bed by the house. The only toads I'm familiar with are the big brownish ones. Never seen any this small and dark. Do toads change color to their surroundings like a chameleon? Probably a run-of-the-mill toad, but I'd like to know the proper name. I'm in Michigan.

Wish I could've gotten a better photo. I had to hold the camera and snap the shot with my left hand. An amazing feat in itself.
