I'm pretty sure this is a Northern Ring Neck Snake as oppossed to a Ring Neck Snake. Can anyone confirm this?

This was the best picture I could get, I think there was too much glare from the container. Taking it out wasn't an option in the house. How can I get better pics in the future outside the feild?

Anyways, I'm really proud and excited about my find because the only other snakes I've been able to find were back rat snakes and once a smooth earth snake dead and dried up in the basement.

I wish I could find more. We have brush and rock piles but I can never find any.
