Could anyone please identify this green and blue snake? Location of encounter: Borneo (Southeast Asia). Here's the URL:

It looks like one of the several tree vipers in SE Asia of the genus Trimeresurus. I am not familiar with the differnt species and subspecies. It could be a color variant of T. wagleri (Wagler's Pit Viper or Temple Viper).

These are really common in the lowcountry, judging by my experience with them. They are very good tree climbers, by the way! It's a little unnerving seeing one 'scale' a loblolly pine or a big live oak.
