Once again, I thank you for all the compliments! The shell is glass. The rest is steel I think. Not sure, and I've been to lazy today to try a magnet to see. And, the 'table' he/she is pictured on is a credenza in our bedroom, so Mr. or Mrs. No-Name yet was removed within a couple of minutes of me taking the picture. I was not supposed to hear, but I head her bragging about this turtle to someone on the phone - and I think I'll just play dumb and keep the peace..... Best part of the day was that I was working on the deck - putting up the steps that go from the lower level to the upper level (all of 3 step) and she came out to see if I wanted some help. About had to call 911 as she is not into this outdoor stuff or helping me :-) Bet she spends more time on the deck than I do though. Anyway, she was holding a board for me to drill and screw and she looked around and said something like 'this is going to be really nice and your retarded turtle garden looks really good'. Before anyone thinks otherwise, we have a wonderful relationship. I call her the "original NO woman" as that is her initial immediate response to anything I ask - but 99.9% of the time No means Yes eventually. Oh, I have updated both websites. The turtle site has the almost painted plaster surgeon version (one more enhancement coato to go) and this one a picture of the turtle light up!

Eric- Thanks. Great selection of articles and photos. Good luck with this. I really enjoyed reading it.

We had a group of ducks land in our back yard a few years ago and my garden cat fell into a trance watching them waddle along. They flew away along with his day dreams. I love the pictures of your ducks. Not like any ducks I've ever seen. They look fat and happy.....Maryl

I am going to put the large one in my yard. I plan to put it by my driveway next to the garage, next to a flower bed. that way i will see it every time i drive up. the small one i am giving to my sis for her 50th bday. I envision them in a flower bed. I plan on sealing them. But I won't keep them out over the winter. the coldest we get here is mid 30s. I plan to make more to sell at a spring garden show. but they will be small. anne
