Just reading up on it, from Nelson's link, I'm not sure it's worth the trouble of triple parboiling. It looks neat and smells a bit like okra but I have plenty else in the garden. Thank you all so much for the help, it's great to finally know what it is and really neat that it's edible!

My orange ones multiply but not in a bad way just enough to share with people. I also have red and wish it would spread but it doesn't. Going to move it to better dirt. I am a horse trainer and breeder so I use lots of composted manure. The weeds love it but so do the flowers and it makes my soil so nice weeds pull so easily.
